Ziplining
First you will get strapped in your harness and start the ziplining course through the canopy and canyons! The course takes you into a steep canyon over a turbulent river, where you will zipline, rappel and rock climb, cross hanging bridges and ride Tarzan swings. You will go down 8 zip line cables, 18 platforms, a climbing wall, a hanging bridge, “via ferrata” (cable) rappel, and a tarzan swing!

Horseback Riding
After ziplining, you will return to the tour base to prepare for a 45-minute horseback ride through the forest viewing the local flora and fauna of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano

Rincon de La Vieja - River Tubing - You will have the time of your life bouncing down Rio Negro’s crystal clear and fun rapids in your individual rafting “tube” for over 5 kilometers.

Lunch includes many choices of entrees and sides, dessert bar, fresh juice, coffee and tea. All dietary resctrictions can be accommodated

Rio Negro Hot Springs - Hot Springs & Volcanic Mud Bath
After lunch you will driven to the Hot Springs. Surrounded by tropical dry forest, the Río Negro (Black River) Hot Springs feature ten pools with thermal waters heated naturally by the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.The soothing mineral waters are crystal clear and all natural, and the river flows through the pools constantly refilling them with water. Relax and enjoy luxuriating in our healing waters. You can also try our volcanic mud “bath”, where you smooth volcanic clay mud all over yourself like a spa “masque,” then after it dries, wash it off with a cool river water shower. The hot springs water will feel great afterwards!

Long day but so worth it! - This is an absolutely amazing all day trip that gives you the opportunity to experience multiple activities! Plan to leave yourself a day of rest after this one because you will need it! We thoroughly enjoyed the activities, all the guides were very kind and we felt like we experienced 5 days in 1! I’d definitely do this one again.

Amazing time and super exciting! - My family and I had a super fun time! We got to go ziplining, horseback riding and go tubing in some rapids! For most of us it was our first time doing one or all three of those experiences and they were all really beginner friendly and there was never a time when any us felt like we were in danger. All the tour and safety guides were really helpful and all in all I would defenetly recommend this place for anyone going to Costa Rica.

- Loved our entire experience! Nicole was our excursion leader and very knowledgeable, friendly and communicative. Luis, our driver, was the best! Our favorite part was tubing the river. We’ve been on a lot of rivers and this one was by far our favorite! Thank you for an unforgettable day!

Best Tour EVER!!!! - Woow! This was such an amazing experience to share with my husband and kids. The ziplines automatically stop you so you can just enjoy the ride and not worry about stopping. The platforms were placed in an amazing canyon! Horseback riding was nice, but my favorite part was the tubing! The guides were super amazing and literally tube surfing. Do not be scared, they are so attentive and WILL save you if you get stuck! This tour is so exhilarating. I have done many tours in Costa Rica but this takes the prize! A must do!!!

Fun adventure packed day with a nice chill/hot ending - This was really fun. We started with horseback riding which was walking but that’s typical. We stopped at a pretty waterfall for 5 minutes then went on. Next was water tubing which was so fun. It was basically white water in a tube with no control. Next was the zip lining. The canyon was so beautiful. I went upside down on 2 of the lines so it was a near different perspective. We also had the rappelling and rock climbing. It was an easy but fun wall suitable for beginners. Next we had a yummy buffet lunch. Lastly was the hot springs and mud bath. It was warm that day so it was nice to be able to chill in the river when we got too hot.

We went tubing, zip... - We went tubing, zip lining, horseback riding, and to the hot springs, as well as catered lunch! Each was AMAZING. The scenery was beautiful, the guides were so funny and interactive but also very good at their jobs. And the lunch was perfect. Our bus guides names were Kevin and Frank and they made the transportation very comfortable

Great adventure - What a great day! From being picked up at our door it was an amazing experience. I shared the experience with my adult daughter The zip line was a riot. I opted out of the rappelling, but my daughter was brave. She said the rock wall climb back up was a challenge! The horseback ride was ok. Some nice views of the volcano. The highlight was the tubing! We were there in the dry season and it was still a wild ride! So much fun. The staff were there to make sure you were safe the whole way down. The lunch was also very good- better than I had expected. The hot springs were a perfect way to end the day. I highly recommend this adventure. It was a long day but well worth it!

A must do if you want a little bit off everything packed into one day! - Need to know: TOWELS & WATER are provided BATHING SUIT consider it your base layer, it’s the easiest way! Shorts or bathing suit shorts long enough to protect your inner thighs for riding horses. WATER SHOES If you forget yours they are available for $20. Decent quality and you can literally wear these for the entire excursion. Waterproof phone pouches available as well for $12. BUG SPRAY - applied before Zip-lining, you’ll need it! THE TRIP Easy transportation if your hotel isn’t listed on their pickup list. $50 RT total for me and my husband. Communication through Trip Advisor was excellent. Any questions ask, customer service consistently quick to respond. 7AM PICKUP for us Harry, super friendly and fun, was the guide in the first van that brings you to a check point to catch the next van depending on which tour you book. It’s a QUICK stop to hit the restroom which was wonderfully clean and grab breakfast to go. Highly recommend as most of our group was ravenous by lunchtime. My hubby got a decent omelet with sausage and toast for $5 USD. Kevin was our guide for the day! Very energetic and he will explain every portion of the trip in detail which is helpful if any activities are a first time experience. 1st stop ZIP-LINING This is where you can purchase water shoes, waterproof phone pouches etc… Great crew to fit you with your equipment and send you on your way. Not our first time and this was fun! Nine stations, beautiful scenery, waterfalls etc, option to repel a short stint and climb back up. Not super challenging as it’s a “rock wall” like at the Y and they’ll hoist you up if needed, but do it! Then a Tarzan swing over to the other side, short and sweet and mandatory. 2nd STOP - HORSEBACK WALKING Head back to van to get ready. Make sure you have your bathing suit on! This is your opportunity to quickly go to the restroom if you need to and throw on bottoms that will cover your inner thighs if your bathing suit doesn’t. I highly recommend it. I did not and regretted it. Your horse is walking but might be able to get some trotting in depending on the horse you have. It is a little crazy as they round you up in a pen with no guarantee that you will stay with the person you’re with! But you’re all heading to the same place and will all end up together again. Some horses are sweet and a few a tiny bit feisty with each other but it’s always nice to be on the horse whether you’re walking or trotting so it was still enjoyable. 3rd STOP - TUBING After horses your bus is there with your stuff so you can ditch the pants and hop on another bus to get there! They’ll fit you with a life jacket and helmet. My absolute FAVORITE part of the trip. We were there in the rainy season so we had the most fantastic rapids that I was NOT expecting so I was thrilled! CREW WAS GREAT! Again highlight of the trip! 4th Stop BUFFET LUNCH. Very satisfying after an already fun filled day! Cocktails available for purchase. 5th STOP HOTSPRINGS AND MUD BATH Short hike to Multiple hot spring “pools” prior to applying mud, let it dry, showers or the river to rinse off! Refreshingly cold! Then back into the hot spring! This was a full day excursion. Door to door 7AM - 6:45 PM Go into it knowing there are a lot of people. It might feel “rushed” but I’d call it efficient. They are moving you along as there is a tight schedule to ensure you get a taste of every activity. Overall if you’re looking for a fast paced fun filled day with amazing staff this it the one!
