DEPARTING OSLO, CONTINUING TO LILLEHAMMER AND NATIONAL PARKS

Lillehammer - Departing from Oslo, the journey will take us through the stunning landscapes of Norway over the next few days. Our first stop is Lillehammer, the site of the 1994 Winter Olympics, located by Norway’s largest lake, Mjøsa. We’ll take in the spectacular views from the ski jumps before heading further north along the scenic Peer Gynt Vegen. In favorable weather, this route offers views of the beautiful Rondane and Jotunheimen National Parks, as well as the Gudbrandsdalen Valley, famous for its traditional Norwegian songs and goat cheese.

TROLL ROAD, GEIRANGER, UNESCO HERITAGE

Trollveggen Besøkssenter - Anticipate the most picturesque day of the trip as we journey alongside the waterfalls of the wild Rauma River, which meanders through the deep Romsdalen Valley to Europe’s tallest vertical rock face, Trollveggen. An extraordinary experience awaits as we ascend the renowned “Troll Path - Trollstigen” to witness one of Norway’s most breathtaking views. The journey continues to the stunning Geiranger Fjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll admire it from the Eagle Bend viewpoints and then navigate the winding roads to the summit of Dalsnibba at 1,497 meters.

GEIRANGER CRUISE, BRIKSDALBREEN GLACIER

Geiranger - Relish the final moments in Geiranger with an optional, unforgettable sightseeing cruise through this magnificent fjord. Afterwards, we’ll proceed to the renowned Briksdalbreen Glacier, where a short walk will allow us to appreciate its beauty up close.

THE LONGEST TUNNEL IN THE WORLD AND MOUNTAIN RAILWAY

Flåm Railway Museum - The journey continues along Nordfjord, followed by a ferry ride across Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and the world’s second-longest fjord, to the charming wooden church in Kaupanger. We’ll travel through the world’s longest tunnel, spanning 24.5 km, to reach the town of Flåm, nestled in Norway’s stunning natural surroundings. Here, we’ll enjoy a ride on the Flåmsbana mountain railway. This unique experience will be followed by a transfer to accommodation at the beautiful mountain hotel Stalheim, promising an unforgettable stay.

AURLANDSFJORD CRUISE AND BERGEN

Aurlandsfjord - The day begins with a two-hour cruise on Aurlandsfjord, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by a crossing of Norway’s narrowest fjord, Nærøyfjord, to the town of Gudvangen. After this delightful cruise, we’ll transfer to the remarkable city of Bergen, surrounded by mountains, lowlands, and a picturesque bay with charming wooden houses. In the afternoon, enjoy a stroll through the city, visit the historic Bergenhus Fortress, and take advantage of some free time.
