AIRPORT PICK-UP – LIMA CITY TOUR

Lima - Upon arrival at the airport, guests will be transferred to their respective hotels. Depending on the arrival time, the city tour will commence at either 9:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. The tour will explore the heart of Lima, showcasing stunning colonial buildings over 500 years old. The tour concludes around 6:00 p.m. Overnight stay in Lima.

PARACAS - HUACACHINA - ICA

Paracas National Reserve - Early morning at 3:30 a.m., guests will board a bus from Lima to Paracas. At the Paracas pier, a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands will begin, lasting 2 hours, where visitors can admire the Candelabra geoglyph, sea birds, numerous sea lions, and Humboldt penguins. After the Ballestas Islands tour, guests will visit the Chaco boulevard to view local crafts, followed by a transfer to the bus station for the journey to Ica. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted and taken to the Huacachina Lagoon, a natural desert oasis surrounded by beautiful palm trees. Here, guests can enjoy the scenery, try sandboarding, and ride dune buggies. Return to Lima at 6:00 p.m.

AIRPORT PICK-UP – CUSCO CITY TOUR

Centro Historico De Cusco - A Machu Picchu Journey representative will greet guests upon arrival in Cusco and escort them to their hotel. The morning is free for acclimatization. The Cusco city tour begins at 1:50 p.m., visiting the Inca temple of Qoricancha, also known as the Santo Domingo temple. The tour continues to the outskirts of Cusco, exploring the impressive platforms and temples of the Sacsayhuamán fortress, the Qenco amphitheater, and the terraces, walls, and stairways of Puka Pukara, concluding at Tambomachay. Arrival in Cusco is approximately 6:30 p.m., with drop-off near the main square. Overnight stay in Cusco.

SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS – AGUAS CALIENTES

Sacred Valley of the Incas - The journey begins at 7:30 a.m. with hotel pick-up in Cusco, heading to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the archaeological park of Pisaq for a guided tour lasting about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Guests will then visit the town of Pisaq and its artisan market for souvenir shopping. The tour proceeds to Urubamba for a delightful buffet lunch. After lunch, guests will visit the town of Ollantaytambo to explore the archaeological complex, followed by a 1 hour and 40-minute train ride to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, a Machu Picchu Journey representative will escort guests to their hotel. In the evening, the guide will visit the hotel to provide final details for the Machu Picchu visit. Overnight stay in Aguas Calientes.

MACHU PICCHU

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - The day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a 30-minute tourist bus ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu. The guided tour of the citadel lasts about 2 hours, after which guests have free time to explore independently. After the tour, guests will descend to Aguas Calientes for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, guests will board the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, a Machu Picchu Journey representative will transport guests back to Cusco and drop them off at their hotel. Arrival in Cusco is approximately 8:00 p.m. Overnight stay in Cusco.

HUMANTAY LAKE

Humantay Lake - The adventure begins between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. with hotel pick-up, followed by a 2-hour drive to the town of Mollepata (2,900 masl / 9,514 ft). Upon arrival, guests will enjoy a delicious local American breakfast. The journey continues to Soraypampa (3,900 masl / 12,795 ft), the starting point for a 1-hour hike to the stunning Humantay Lagoon (4,200 masl / 13,779 ft). Guests can enjoy the breathtaking landscape and the lagoon’s crystal-clear waters, with ample time for photography. After visiting the lagoon, guests will return to Soraypampa, where transportation will be waiting to take them back to Mollepata for a comforting buffet lunch. The return to Cusco is expected around 4:30 p.m. Overnight stay in Cusco.

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca - Guests will be picked up from their hotel at 4:30 a.m. to begin an exciting adventure with a 2.5-hour drive through the South Valley to Anchi Pacha, where a delicious buffet breakfast awaits. The journey continues to the trailhead at Quesyuno (4,326 m / 14,189 ft), where the final preparations are made for a 2 to 2.5-hour moderate hike. Around 10:30 a.m., guests will reach Vinicunca, or Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m / 16,466 ft), with ample time to enjoy the unique landscape. After visiting the mountain, guests will return to the starting point, where private transport will take them back to Anchipacha for a buffet lunch. After a brief rest, the return trip to Cusco will commence, with an expected arrival around 6:30 p.m.
