The tour continues to the Main Square, home to the Government Palace and the Town Hall. Visitors will explore the Cathedral and the Santo Domingo Convent, where San Martin de Porras and San Rosa de Lima once walked in the 17th century, and where their remains are now interred. Cusco - Guests will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, they will be greeted and taken to their hotel. In the afternoon, an exclusive city tour begins at San Cristobal Plaza, offering a panoramic view of the city. The tour proceeds to the San Pedro Market, where visitors can experience local flavors and learn about the area’s produce that supplies the entire city. The magnificent Korikancha temple, meaning “Gold Enclosure” in Quechua, will be visited next, followed by the Santo Domingo Church. The tour continues from San Blas, the artisans’ neighborhood, to Hatun Rumiyoc street, with stops at the Inca Roca Palace, now the Archbishop’s Palace, and the famous Twelve Angle Stone. Cusco - The morning is free. Entrance tickets to Machu Picchu are limited, so it is advisable to secure them when booking the tour to avoid congestion or unavailability. An additional visit to Machu Picchu allows exploration of the Intipunku or Door of the Sun, the Inca Trail entrance to the citadel. For those seeking adventure, visiting Huayna Picchu requires advance reservation, as only 400 daily spots are available.
