Visit the Cathedral and walk to the Convent of Santo Domingo, where San Martín de Porres and Santa Rosa de Lima once walked in the 17th century, and where their remains now lie.
Lima - Cusco, Capital of the Inca’s Empire
Qorikancha - Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco (airfare not included; a morning flight is recommended). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon (13:30 hrs), enjoy an exclusive tour of Cusco. The tour begins at St. Christopher’s Square for a panoramic view of the city. Proceed to St. Peter’s Market to explore local flavors, aromas, and colors.
The Qorikancha Temple will then welcome you, allowing you to imagine its former glory, adorned in gold. Qorikancha means “golden enclosure” in Quechua, and much of its past splendor remains. You will also visit the St. Dominique Church.
San Blas - Next, visit San Blas, the district of artisans. Walk down Hatun Rumiyoc Street, see the Inca Roca palace (now the Archbishop’s palace), and admire the famous 12-angled stone.
Plaza de Armas - Continue to the Plaza de Armas and take in the heart of Cusco from this vantage point.
Cusco Cathedral - Visit the Cathedral to view the colonial masterpieces housed within.

Inca’s Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu
Chinchero - Today, explore some of the most fascinating sites in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Chinchero, the most traditional and picturesque town in the Sacred Valley, is the first stop. Visit its archaeological complex and admire its beautiful colonial church. Chinchero is also renowned for its female weavers who use ancient Inca techniques to dye and spin alpaca wool.
Moray - Next, visit Moray, a unique Inca archaeological site with colossal circular terraces. It served as an agricultural laboratory where various microclimates were recreated. Lunch follows.
Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - Continue the tour in the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo, which was significant to the Incas as a military, religious, and agricultural center. Visit the Temple of the 10 Windows, the ñusta (Inca princess) baths, the Sun temple, and other points of interest. The views from the top of the archaeological site provide a perfect conclusion to this magical day in the Sacred Valley. Then, take a train to Machu Picchu town.
Machu Picchu, Lost Citadel
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - In the morning, board a bus on time to ascend the mountain via a serpentine road with breathtaking views.
Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, awaits at the mountain’s summit. Discover its remarkable terraces, stone steps, ceremonial sites, urban areas, and temples.
