1. Parque del Amor
The tour begins with the collection of each traveler from their hotel or Airbnb. The first stop is one of the world’s 50 most romantic parks, located in the Miraflores neighborhood. Known as the Love Park, it is a vibrant and charming haven for couples, offering a stunning sea view. Inspired by Barcelona’s Parque Güell, it features a central sculpture called “El Beso” by Peruvian artist Victor Delfín.
- The tour continues with a visit to the Huaca Pucllana Archaeological Site, a sacred site of the Lima culture. Following this, the tour proceeds to the historic center of Lima, exploring its main squares, streets, churches, and remnants of the ancient City of the Kings.
3. Lima Main Square
Next, the tour moves to the Historic Center of Lima for a guided walk through the impressive Plaza de Armas. Participants will admire the exteriors of the Lima Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the Municipal Palace, while the guide shares the historical and secret stories of the ancient “City of the Kings.”
4. Basílica and Convent of San Francisco, Lima
The tour then visits the Convent of San Francisco, a significant colonial architectural complex in Lima. Visitors will enter the religious museum and explore its renowned Catacombs, an underground ossuary with thousands of human remains arranged symbolically and ritually. After this visit, there will be a brief free time to explore local shops and enjoy an optional free tasting of Pisco Sour, Peru’s iconic drink. If desired, local products can be purchased. Before returning, there will be a short stop at Plaza San Martin, Lima’s second most important square and a symbol of Peruvian independence. Finally, participants will be returned to their hotel or Airbnb.
