A great tour guide made our day in Lima! - What a fantastic day trip! Our tour guide Saul was wonderful. His English was perfect and he was very attentive and professional. We had a great time in Lima. The only suggestion is this day trip should include visiting the Cathedral. All in all Saul made us a very enjoyable day in Lima.

City tour - It is quite a long day and quite a lot of walking.
Not advisable for people in wheel chairs as uneven ground and steps

Culture, History and Food on this Memorable Tour. - Saul and Andres were great guides - knowledgeable and fun to be with for the day. We tasted local fruits at the market in Miraflores, toured the cathedral, basilica and catacombs, learned some history at the main square and had a short visit to an alpaca store. It was a good mix of walking and bus riding. We had a lovely lunch outdoors with lots of local food options and capped off the day at Parque del Amor.
*It should be noted that the cruise shuttle bus must be taken from the port to the Indian Market in Miraflores to meet the guides/tour bus. This was not clear from the title of the excursion that there is no possible pickup at the port as it is a huge commercial port lacking cruise ship infrastructure.

Nice way to see the city and get back to your ship on time - Saul and the team are so knowledgable and passionate about their city. The churches and palaces were amazing.

Fantastic Lima shore excursion from Callao! - Soul, our guide with Javier, our driver, showed us around Lima in about 6 hours. Soul was passionate about his city. We enjoyed seeing many different areas around Lima.

Good option to ship tour if you nervous to take Peruvian taxi or uber - I was very nervous about getting around Lima by ourselves in taxis or uber due to the high crime there so this provided a reassuring way to see historic Lima and Miraflores. Operator was very responsive to questions about meeting point and time and meetup was seamless. Saul was an enthusiastic and delightful guide. Would have liked more time in Miraflores and less in historic church but traffic was awful. Recommend this as a good way to see Lima, much cheaper than a ship tour and discussing with later other Holland American guests our tour sounded much better.

Informative tour and an excellent day! - Great experience instead of cruise company Shore tour. Saul, Ismail and Benjamin made the tour complete. Benjamin was excellent driver and felt extremely safe despite difficult traffic conditions. Saul and Ismail made a terrific team giving us lots of relevant info which added to the experience.

A great day in Lima - A really good trip with a private car, driver and guide. A bit of a mix up with pick up at the Indian Market as the cruise port is a difficult pick up with P&O refusing to let passengers leave at the exit to the port. Once we found each other it was great. Super midday meal and drink. Good information too. No water as promised, but it didn’t spoil the trip.

Stressful Experience Despite a Good Tou - The tour itself was good, but the experience was very stressful. We had to find a car to get to the meeting point and then waited 1 hour 15 minutes in a dangerous area because the staff weren’t there and only answered local numbers. They eventually sent a car to drop us off at a new meeting point. The tour guide mismanaged time, taking over an hour to reach the restaurant because of a stop at a shop beforehand. The restaurant service was very slow, and the guide did nothing to help. By 3:30 PM, we were exhausted and left the tour early along with another couple. This wasn’t a proper cruise excursion, and the communication was really poor.
