Best way to experience Lima’s culinary arts - Dine on ceviches and pisco sour to start
Experience a huge assortment of Peruvian dishes and drinks explained by the sweet kind Amy at a few different venues after the Oceanside appetizers then conclude with chocolate & sip of special liquor followed by a brief walk through Barranco. Worth you time and money for sure to be escorted the entire evening and have Amy take care of every detail. Happy traveler here!!

Great experience for family in Lima - An unforgettable experience — thank you, Amy and the Lima Gourmet team!
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. Amy was an exceptional guide—warm, engaging, and constantly checking in to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Her energy made the entire evening feel effortless and welcoming, and she went out of her way to make my kids feel included every step of the way.
The food? Outstanding. From fresh ceviche and perfectly crisped chicharrón to rich aji de gallina and decadent cacao tastings, every bite was a celebration of Peruvian flavors. The pacing of the evening was just right, and the variety of stops—each with its own atmosphere and culinary focus—kept things exciting and immersive. Some spots had amazing ocean views or overlooking beautiful and interesting archeological sites.
This tour isn’t just about food; it’s about culture, hospitality, and joy. If you’re visiting Lima, don’t miss this experience—and definitely ask for Amy

Gourmet Food Tour - This was an amazing tour, filled with delicious food, excellent history and a fantastic tour guide, Patricia. We did this on our first night and it was a great introduction to the city and its amazing cuisine. Patricia was a fabulous tour guide! Highly recommend!

Tastefully Delicious Lima! - Ms. Sue outdid herself with our culinary tour of Lima! If each stop could not be better than the previous! Just continued to get better and better! Peruvian coffee, Peruvian ceviche, Peruvian Fish, Peruvian Vegetarian Dishes, and Exquisite local dishes, as well! A taste for each palate! Thank you to Ms. Sue and our Driver Jesus! Perfect Tour! Unforgettable Culinary Adventure in Lima! - Unforgettable Culinary Adventure in Lima!
We joined a food tour in Lima and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! Amy Makiya was a wonderful guide. She made the experience even more special when she surprised us with a beautiful anniversary cake—such a thoughtful touch that truly made our day.
Each stop was well-curated, combining delicious Peruvian cuisine with rich cultural stories and ambiance, including a gorgeous archeological backdrop. The tiradito in Cala was delicious, and anticuchos in Huaca Pucllana hit the spot. The custom Akira cocktail was refreshing and matched well with the limo salted in Guargüero Restaurante. Ukaw was the sweetest finale with Cacao Bonbons paired with Mistela.
Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented, with generous portions (I only wish I had a bigger tummy!). The pairing of drinks elevated each dish, and I walked away with a newfound appreciation for Peruvian cuisine.
If I had one suggestion, it would be to allow a bit more time to savor the final courses—those of us who eat a little slower felt just a tad rushed towards the end.
Suggestions for the future: Including iconic bites like cuy or alpaca would make this already wonderful tour even more immersive!
Overall, it was a rich, vibrant, and delicious experience—truly unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience the heart (and belly!) of Peru.

Fantastic food tour - highly recommend!!! - This was an absolutely fantastic food tour! We were taken to four different locations and provided with food and an accompanying drink at each - make sure to arrive hungry as there is more than enough to try!!! Our guide, Kimberly, was absolutely fantastic and gave us so much information throughout the night about the food, the locations, and Peru as a whole. She made sure that those of us with food allergies/restrictions were well taken care of with food that was safe, but also still captured local flavors and complimented what the others were having

- The tour was well-planned and organised. The 4 courses with a wine or cocktail pairing were fantastic, as where the locations- one with a view over the ocean, the other over a pre-Columbian temple! The only suggestion would be to have more chocolate bonbons at the end- there were only 3! Our guide, Patrizia, was an informed and very friendly hostess.

Great tour with great food! - This tour was amazing and Lydia was a wonderful guide! We learned so much about the history and culture of Peru and had great food. We started with ceviche and pisco sours and ended with chocolate with other delicious, traditional Peruvian food. I highly recommend this tour!

Truly Gourmet - One of the best food tours - it truly introduces you to the gourmet food scene in Lima. In addition the locations of each of the restaurants is unique. We were also very impressed by our guide , Patricia, explained all the nuances of the flavor, ingredient, and origins. Very well planned.
