Come HUNGRY because GREAT Food awaits you! - The street food tour was one if the 1st things that we did once we arrived in Lima-BEST DECISION!
It will be a great intro to the vast, delicious Peruvian cuisine. Bruce was fantastic! He made this tour so fun and took us to some really great spots. Not a tourist was in site, so they were definitely true local spots. Everything we tried was delicious! We learned so much about the cuisine, history, etc that we felt super prepared and had a better idea of the items on the menus.
I highly recommend you book a tour with Bruce. This isn't one of those huge group tours run by a large company. It's really a small, local company, which offered a more unique experience. We enjoyed our time with Bruce so much that we also booked him for a tour of the historical center the next day. Both tours ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

V cool tour! - Bruce was great! Very relaxed and friendly and knowledgeable. It was like having a tour from a good friend. And after we all got some food and tried pisco and heard a little more about the darker more hidden side of peru socio-politically

A tour full of charm, information and very good food - Bruce, the guide, took us on a wonderful tour of the center of Lima. Bruce was extremely knowledgeable on many aspects of Peruvian life and during the tour gave us; historical, cultural and social information that really brought Lima to life. We visited many exciting places in the center and had a great explanation on everything we could see and Bruce was happy to answer any questions we had. The tour ended at a charming restaurant, that Bruce recommended, where we all tried various examples of delicious Peruvian cuisine as Bruce continued to happily answer our questions on life in Lima and Peru

Great tour with Bruce - I had an amazing time on the free walking tour in Lima with Bruce! He’s incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about history and culture, and made the entire experience fun and engaging. You can really tell he loves what he does – his energy is contagious! I learned so much about the city, its past and present, and got some great local tips too. Highly recommended if you're in Lima!

Great tours with an incredible guide - I did two tours with Amaru whilst in Lima, and both were excellent. Amaru is knowledgable, incredibly personable and extremely attentive (plus a good photographer if you want a picture taken!).
Having done other city tours in Peru I felt like Amaru offers something that shows you more than just the typical tourist areas, and he’s not afraid to shy away from talking about the darker side of the city.
I’d recommend these tours for anyone visiting Lima whether you’re solo, in a couple, or in a group.

Go and explore Lima with a local and fun guide! - Excellent tour wondering around the old city center of Lima. Bruce was a great host and a brilliant guide. We all enjoyed our time together. Warmly recommended!

Unexpected and original - The tour was amazing!!! The catacombes were very surprising. I didn't expect such a basilica with that many details. Amaru has a unique style, muy original y muy friendly. After the tour I booked another tour with him for Barrenco.

History, food, fun and culture - We really enjoyed our day with Bruce! We managed to book our tour on a national protest day, and Bruce went the extra mile to make sure our tour went ahead, jumping in a taxi to join us. He’s super knowledgeable and good company, and after the tours took us to a great place to eat in an area of Lima that we would not have discovered without him.

Understanding, reliable, lots of history, fun and openminded! - Bruce is a very nice tour guide. He was very understanding when I arrive late because of traffic. I was able to meet the group. He is very natural, charming, knowledgeable and openminded in all senses. All the group was very happy with his performance on the tour. I will recommend him to all my friends. He personally gave me tips on how to take advantage of our days in the city for the LGBT community. Keep in touch!
