Day 01: Welcome to Lima, City of Kings and the Larco Museum of Cultures

Day 01: Welcome to Lima, City of Kings and the Larco Museum of Cultures
Lima - Upon arrival in Lima, guests will receive assistance and be transferred to their hotel. An exclusive tour of Lima’s Historical Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, awaits. The journey begins at the Convent of Santo Domingo, home to the oldest university in the Americas, where visitors can view priceless artifacts, including the remains of San Martín de Porres, San Juan Masías, and Santa Rosa de Lima. The tour continues through the Plaza Mayor, showcasing the Government Palace, Municipality, and the historic Cathedral adorned with colonial artworks. The day concludes at the Larco Museum, which displays ancient Peruvian cultures through its gold pieces, textiles, and erotic ceramics. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit the museum’s warehouse to closely observe ancient ceramics.
Day 02: Nasca, Enigmas of the Pampa
Nasca Lines - Depart by bus to the bay of Paracas. Upon arrival, guests will be assisted in boarding Aerodiana’s modern light aircraft, a Cessna Grand Caravan, at Pisco airport. The flight will take them over the desert sands of Ica to the vast pampa of Nasca, where they will discover the mysterious and enigmatic designs and perfect lines that span this large expanse of land. These designs, visible only from the air, have sparked numerous theories and mysteries about their purpose and creators. Notable figures include the monkey, hummingbird, spider, lizard, astronaut, dog, condor, and many lines resembling landing strips. Guests are encouraged to listen to the theories and form their own conclusions. After returning to Pisco, they will be transferred to their hotel. The rest of the day is free, and an adventure riding a dune buggy, locally known as arenero, through the vast dunes of the nearby desert is recommended. Overnight stay in Paracas.
Day 03: Paracas, Reserve of Marine Life
Paracas National Reserve - Early morning, when the sea is calm, guests will embark on speedy motorboats to the Ballestas Islands, part of the Paracas National Reserve of Marine Life. This protected ecological system safeguards the species inhabiting these islands. Along the way, they will encounter a mysterious drawing known as El Candelabro (The Candelabra), aligned with the direction of the Nasca pampa. Upon arrival at the islands, guests will explore the great caves, home to seals, penguins, and diverse marine birds, which an expert guide will help identify. The curious seals may approach the motorboats to observe the visitors. After returning to the hotel, guests will have free time to enjoy the hotel’s facilities. At the scheduled time, they will depart by bus to return to Lima, where they will be transferred to their hotel.
Day 04: Cusco, Capital of the Empire
Cusco Cathedral - Upon arrival in Cusco, guests will receive assistance and be transferred to their hotel. In the afternoon, an exclusive city tour begins at the Plaza de San Cristóbal (San Cristobal Square) for a panoramic view of the city. The tour continues to the San Pedro Market, where guests can experience local flavors and learn about regional products in this comprehensive market that supplies the entire city. Next, the Qorikancha Temple welcomes visitors with its splendor and magnificence, featuring walls that were once covered in gold. From San Blas, the artisans’ neighborhood, guests will walk down Hatun Rumiyoc street, passing the Inca Roca palace, now the Archbishops Palace, and have time to admire the world-famous Twelve Angled Stone. The tour concludes at the Plaza de Armas with a visit to The Cathedral, which houses colonial works of incredible value.
Day 05: Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman
Sacsayhuaman - In the morning, guests will avoid the crowds to visit Sacsayhuaman, an impressive citadel with colossal constructions surrounded by beautiful landscapes in harmony with the environment. The tour continues to the Inca adoratory of Q’enqo, featuring a surprising altar for sacrifices embedded within its rocky formation. Finally, guests will arrive at the Puca Pucará lookout and Tambomachay, a monument of notable architectural excellence considered a pillar of the Andean cosmovision. The afternoon is free for additional activities or to explore the streets of Cusco. The included admissions passport grants access to other points of interest not visited on the tour.
Day 06: Inca Village of Chinchero, Terraces of Moray and the Inca Village of Ollantaytambo
Sacred Valley - This day, guests will visit the most remarkable places in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The journey begins in the Village of Chinchero, the most typical and colorful village in the Sacred Valley, renowned for its weaving women. A short stop at a textiles center allows guests to appreciate ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning alpaca wool. After visiting the Inca plaza with its beautiful colonial church, the tour continues to Moray, a stunning Inca archaeological site with concentric agricultural terraces that served as a lab to recreate microclimates. After lunch, guests will visit the last living village of the Incas, Ollantaytambo, including the Temple of the Ten Windows, the Bath of the Princess, and the Sun Temple. The postcard-perfect photos taken from the heights of Ollantaytambo will conclude this magical day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Lodging in the area.
Day 07: Machu Picchu, the Lost City
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - The much-anticipated day to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Guests will board at the Ollantaytambo station and depart on the selected train. Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu station, they will receive assistance from staff to board the bus ascending a winding road with a spectacular view of the Urubamba River, which forms a deep canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome guests with its incredible terraces, staircases, ceremonial sites, and urban areas. The entire place exudes energy. After lunch, guests will return by train and be transferred to their hotel in Cusco for lodging.
Day 08: Farewell Day
Cusco - Guests will be transferred to the airport for departure to Lima, where they will connect with their return flight home.
