Day 01: Welcome to Lima, City of Kings and the Larco Museum of Cultures

Lima - Upon arrival in Lima, receive assistance and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy an exclusive tour of Lima’s Historical Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Begin at the Convent of Santo Domingo, exploring the oldest university in the Americas and viewing priceless artifacts, including the remains of San Martín de Porres, San Juan Masías, and Santa Rosa de Lima. Continue through the Plaza Mayor, admiring the Government Palace, Municipality, and the historic Cathedral with its colonial artworks. The tour concludes at the Larco Museum, showcasing ancient Peruvian cultures with its gold pieces, textiles, and erotic ceramics. You’ll also visit the museum’s warehouse to see the art of ancient ceramics up close.

Day 02: Nasca, Enigmas of the Pampa

Nasca Lines - Depart by bus to the bay of Paracas. Upon arrival, receive assistance to board the modern light aircraft of Aerodiana, Cessna Grand Caravan, at the Pisco airport. Fly over the desert sands of Ica before reaching the great pampa of Nasca, where mysterious and enigmatic designs and perfect lines cross this vast expanse of land. The designs can only be appreciated from the air, sparking many theories and mysteries about their purpose and creators. Notable designs include the monkey, the hummingbird, the spider, the lizard, the astronaut, the dog, the condor, and many lines resembling landing strips. Listen to the theories and draw your own conclusions. Return to Pisco and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy free time, with a suggestion to embark on an adventure riding a dune buggy, locally known as arenero, through the vast dunes of the nearby desert. Overnight stay in Paracas.

Day 03: Paracas, Reserve of Marine Life

Paracas National Reserve - Early in the morning, when the sea is calm and without big waves, embark on speedy motorboats to visit the Ballestas Islands, part of the Paracas National Reserve of Marine Life. This ecological system is protected and regulated to safeguard the species inhabiting these islands. Along the way, encounter a mysterious drawing known as El Candelabro (The Candelabra), aligned in the direction of the pampa of Nasca. Upon arrival at the islands, explore the great caves, home to seals, penguins, and diverse marine birds that our expert guide will help identify. The curious seals may approach the motorboats to observe us. Return to the hotel. Enjoy free time to relax at the hotel facilities. At the scheduled time, depart by bus to return to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 04: Cusco, Capital of the Empire

Cusco Cathedral - Arrive in Cusco, receive assistance, and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy an exclusive city tour starting at the Plaza de San Cristóbal (San Cristobal Square) for a panoramic view of the city. Next, visit the San Pedro Market to experience local flavors and learn about the area’s products in this comprehensive market that supplies the entire city. Later, the Qorikancha Temple welcomes visitors with its splendor and magnificence, with walls once covered in gold. From San Blas, the artisans’ neighborhood, walk down Hatun Rumiyoc street, passing the Inca Roca palace, now the Archbishop’s Palace, and take time to admire the world-famous Twelve Angled Stone. Continue to the Plaza de Armas to visit The Cathedral, which houses colonial works of incredible value.

Day 05: Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman

Sacsayhuaman - In the morning, escape the crowds to visit Sacsayhuaman, an impressive citadel with colossal constructions surrounded by beautiful landscapes in harmony with the environment. Continue to the Inca adoratory of Q’enqo, featuring a surprising altar for sacrifices embedded in its rocky formation. Finally, arrive at the Puca Pucará lookout and Tambomachay, a monument of notable architectural excellence considered one of the pillars of the Andean cosmovision. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the city further. The included admissions passport grants access to additional points of interest not covered in the tour.

Day 06: Inca Village of Chinchero, Terraces of Moray and the Inca Village of Ollantaytambo

Sacred Valley - Visit the most remarkable places in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Depart for the Village of Chinchero, the most typical and colorful of the Sacred Valley, famous for its weaving women. Make a short stop at a textiles center to appreciate the ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning alpaca wool. After visiting the Inca plaza with its beautiful colonial church, continue to Moray, a stunning Inca archaeological site with concentric agricultural terraces that served as a lab to recreate microclimates. Enjoy lunch. Later, visit the last living village of the Incas, Ollantaytambo, and explore the Temple of the Ten Windows, the Bath of the Princess, and the Sun Temple. Capture postcard-worthy photos from the heights of Ollantaytambo to conclude this magical day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Overnight in the area.

Day 07: Machu Picchu, the Lost City

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - The much-anticipated day to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Board at the Ollantaytambo station and depart on the selected train. Arrive at the Machu Picchu station and receive assistance from our staff to board the bus ascending a winding road with a spectacular view of the Urubamba River, which forms a deep canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, welcomes visitors with its incredible terraces, staircases, ceremonial sites, and urban areas. The entire place exudes energy. Enjoy lunch. At the coordinated time, return by train and transfer to the hotel in Cusco. Overnight stay.

Day 08: Farewell Day

Cusco - Transfer to the airport for departure to Lima to connect with your return flight home.

• When booking your flight from Lima to Cusco, it must be in the morning. Arrival by noon is too late.

• The plane in Nazca holds up to 12 passengers
• Overflight is not recomendable for children less than 8 years old.
• Machu Picchu has implemented new visitor circuits, with three main routes with specific differences to distribute passengers in various areas. These changes are intended to improve the visitor experience and preserve the integrity of the archaeological site. The circuit with route 2 will be given as priority and if it is not available, the options of taking circuit 3B or circuit 1B will be informed so that you can confirm your decision before the tickets are issued.
