An Excellent Morning Trip - I just completed this tour of Pachacamac pyramids and museum and really enjoyed the experience. Diego picked me up at my hotel on time and we were joined at the next stop by Luis, a tourist from Mexico, and our tour guide José. Diego did an outstanding job of getting us to our locations. Traffic in Lima can be a big challenge, but Diego handled it with no difficulties. I get the impression he's driven this tour quite a bit. During the drive, José informed us about the sites we were going to see and their significance. He likes to have tours go through the museum first, so there is a better appreciation of the four cultures that had a hand in building the pyramids. I think that was a good choice, as it was easier for me to see the differences in building style and materials. The museum is one of the newest in Peru and is very impressive. Exhibits are well designed and information is provided in Spanish and English. There also are good bathrooms and a café - consider these before taking on the pyramids. You can take water with you as you walk. After completing the museum, we headed out to the pyramids and José did a top-notch job in explaining the sites we visited. The entire location is very large, but there are roads through the park, so you can stop, walk to the structures, then take the car to the next structure. I think this is for everyone, but it may only be available for registered tour groups. Getting to the Temple of the Sun is a fairly strenuous hike up a high and long incline. Take your time, stop a time or two to take photos, and rest at the top. I had few problems walking Machu Picchu, but this ascent did challenge me - maybe because there aren't any steps. Pechacamac was an important site for several cultures and on the Inca Trail. It has magnificent views of the ocean from the Temple of the Sun. For me, this was a trip well-worth taking as it only required a half-day and added another significant stopping point on the Inca Trail to complement those I visited in the Sacred Valley. José and Diego were excellent hosts and I'm very glad to have had their expertise - it added so much to the experience. Being so close to Lima made it a great finish to my weeklong trip to Peru and I was back to my hotel with plenty of time to pack and get ready for dinner before flying out the next day. I highly recommend the tour and these guides!

Roxana and Carlos were fantastic! - Hi 👋 Roxana and Carlos picked us up on time and explained we were picking up other people up. They introduced the other participants and created a comfortable environment. The tour itself was fantastic. Roxana shared her knowledge of the city as well as the Pachacamac site. The drive itself was good and we felt safe in Carlos's hands. Roxana demonstrated her extensive knowledge of the history and environment of the site. Roaxana also has a great sense of humour and as well as knowledgeable was entertaining. I would not hesitate to go on another tour hosted by Roxana with Carlos driving. Five stars 🌟

Excellent experience at the Sanctuary of Pachacamac - The sanctuary is very well cared for and organized. The museum is very didactic and the curation of pieces gives us an idea of how the groups in the past were. The Roxana guide was very attentive and explained in detail the history and customs of these groups. I had a great experience. Thank you very much!

Excellent tour to Pachacamac with an incredible guide - We had an incredible experience visiting the Pachacamac archaeological sanctuary. Our guide, Noemí, was exceptional — very knowledgeable about the history of the site and Inca culture in general. He explained the historical timeline very clearly and helped us understand the importance of this sacred place. In addition to her knowledge, Noemí was super kind and attentive throughout the tour. He even offered to take lots of pictures of us, and they all turned out great! It was like having a guide and a professional photographer at the same time. We also want to give a special shout-out to Diego, our driver, for his good vibes and for driving us safely and punctually. We highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Lima!

Competent and enthusiastic professional guide - We really enjoyed the activity of June 26, with the Noemí Álvarez Guide and Driver Diego. The knowledge, enthusiasm, dedication and kindness with which we were guided through the history and characteristics of the place visited was remarkable. We obtained clear answers to the group’s queries and remained excited about the explanations. Time and support were also considered so that we could take pictures. We're left with very nice memories.

Nice tour - The company provided great communication. The night before sent reminder. Pick up time was precisely. Jose was our guide and he spent time to introduce some background of Lima as his hometown. We had a leisure pace to tour Pachacamac. Driver Diego ensured us not to walk too much under the sun. I enjoyed much of the museum on site which was built 2011. The presentation is very nice. The scale of the ruin is massive. There are a lot of work to dig and to restore. I would recommend this tour.
