Edgar is the best tour guide ever - Edgar was a really wonderful guide. He arrived with a van and a driver on time (early, even). He took the time to find out what we had already seen & learned on our travels in Peru and tailored his presentation to us. He made great use of the transit time with conversation and teaching us about the histories of pre- Incan civilizations of Pachacmac. After a week of tours, I can say Edgar was an excellent guide- and we had several very good ones. He was the best. Fountain of knowledge, well spoken, curious and kind. Head and shoulders above the others. As for the site, we were really blown away by the scale of it and we learned a ton about pre- Incan civilizations. The museum was wonderful- modern and well organized- full of archeological finds from the site. If you are a history buff, this is a must see.

A good excursion in Lima - 8 hours tour to Pachacamac and Lunch show with Peruvian Paso Horses at Mamacona . Since the day before Nicolle gave us confirmation and a detailed tour of each step. Roxana our tour guide and van driver Alberto pick us up at the time exact. Very profesional, bilingual , she gave us a lesson about the museum and the site . The van had a door fake alarm and it was replaced while we visited the museum because she call the company. We all were very pleased how she so smoothed got the replacement van and continued the tour . She already took care of us . When the horse show ended at 3:55 pm , Alberto the minivan driver was outside waiting for us. He returned the people to Lima who didn’t booked the lunch show and drove back on time. I have taken four different tours company and by far Inca Trilogy has been the best of all. For sure I will use Trilogy for my next excursion.

The tour guide ruined the experience - Patrick, the guide, was unable to answer even basic question about the site. I would ask him a question, but he would avoid answering it. Also, in between his talks, he was constantly on his cell phone that appear to be unrelated to work. Also, he was taking calls while we were going through the tour. He said I had a number of good questions, and offered to send me some more information rather than learn of himself. Other members of our group agreed that he was not well-trained knowledgeable in any of The subjects. He kept blaming Unesco and not allowing any investigation of the site. But then contradicted himself on a number vacations. He uses his excuse not to answer any questions. Please do not have Patrick. Do any more tours on this site. It is not fair to the people who go on the tours.
