The journey begins at the Convent of Santo Domingo, constructed during Limaās founding. This site is home to the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos, the oldest university in the Americas. Inside, the choir boasts the countryās oldest stalls, and the library, with 25,000 books, some dating back to the 15th century, holds immense historical significance. The remains of San MartĆn de Porres, San Juan MasĆas, and Santa Rosa de Lima rest here. Crossing the Plaza Mayor, visitors will see the Government Palace and the Municipality, and enter the Cathedral, a historical gem filled with artworks that bring colonial Lima to life.

Qorikancha - In the heart of Cusco once stood the grand Temple of the Sun, known as Korikancha, the most significant religious site in the Inca Empire. Dedicated to Inti, the Sun God, legend has it that its walls were covered in pure gold sheets, dazzling the Spanish conquerors. Today, the Convent of Santo Domingo stands on its foundations, symbolizing the blend of Inca and colonial architecture. Sacred Valley: Inca and Colonial Pisac, Inkariy Museum and Yucay Live Culture Center
Sacred Valley of the Incas - Today, guests will explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a stunning region nestled between majestic mountain ranges and traversed by the fertile Urubamba River. This valley was highly valued by the Incas for its climate, agricultural potential, and strategic location, and it continues to captivate travelers with its natural beauty and deep cultural roots.
Pisac - The first stop is the Inca archaeological site of Pisac, perched high on a mountain overlooking the valley. Pisac is one of the most impressive and well-preserved complexes in the Sacred Valley, showcasing remarkable Inca engineering, agricultural terraces, and religious structures. From the summit, guests will enjoy panoramic views of the colonial village of Pisac, harmoniously spread out below.
After exploring the ruins, visitors descend to the village itself, where narrow cobbled streets and charming adobe houses reveal the colonial character built upon Inca foundations. Guests will stroll through the local artisan market, one of the regionās most famous. This is the perfect opportunity to purchase handmade textiles, ceramics, silver jewelry, and other traditional crafts directly from local artisans, many of whom continue to use techniques passed down through generations.
Museo Inkariy - Later, the tour continues to the Inkariy Museum to explore the different halls with exhibits representing the pre-Hispanic cultures of ancient Peru. Lunch is provided. The visit then proceeds to the Yucay Live Culture Center, a tourist complex where local settlers demonstrate their weaving and dyeing techniques for traditional textiles, adobe making, traditional chicha preparation, a corn-based drink, and offer a close encounter with Andean camels: llamas and alpacas.
Sacred Valley: Moray Terraces, Maras Salt Mines and Ollantaytambo Living Inca Village
Moray - Today, guests will explore the wonders of the Sacred Valley, starting with Moray. This fascinating site features circular Inca terraces believed to be an agricultural laboratory, where up to 20 different microclimates were recreated. It showcases the Incasā advanced knowledge of farming and environmental adaptation.
Salinas de Maras - The journey continues to the charming village of Maras, home to one of the Sacred Valleyās most unique and ancient sites ā the famous salt mines. These salt pans have been used since pre-Inca times and are still worked by local families today. Thousands of small, shallow pools carved into the mountainside are filled with salty spring water that evaporates under the sun, leaving behind pure salt. The stunning contrast between the gleaming white pools and the surrounding red clay hills creates a surreal landscape, perfect for unforgettable photographs.
Machu Picchu, the Lost City
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - The much-anticipated day to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Boarding at the Ollantaytambo station, guests will depart on the selected train. Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu station, staff will assist in boarding the bus that ascends a winding road, offering spectacular views of the Urubamba River, which forms a deep canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, welcomes visitors with its incredible terraces, staircases, ceremonial sites, and urban areas. The entire place exudes energy. Lunch is provided. At the coordinated time, guests will return by train and be transferred to their hotel in Cusco for lodging.

La Raya Pass - Departure on a tour bus to Puno. Along the way, guests will stop to visit the attractions this beautiful route offers. The first stop is Andahuaylillas to visit its beautiful chapel, followed by Racchi, the Temple of the Wiracocha god, where the walls and narrow streets stand out. Then, itās lunchtime with an opportunity to enjoy the view at La Raya, the natural border between Cusco and Puno. Before reaching the final destination, guests will visit the Pucara Museum and have a chance to acquire one of the local classic bull-shaped ceramics. Arrival in Puno is expected by late afternoon.
Titicaca Sacred Lake and Sillustani Tombs
Uros Floating Islands - A full-day tour to explore Lake Titicaca. The first visit is to the Uros, the friendly inhabitants of these handmade islands made of totora reeds. Next, itās off to Taquile Island, where the settlers still maintain their ancestral traditions and colorful typical clothes. This is a great opportunity to explore the island and enjoy the best view of the lake. A typical lunch is provided on the island. Return to the city in the afternoon.
