• When we reach the Paracas National Reserve (Peru’s oldest reserve) that houses the Ballestas Islands, we’ll get a chance to go on a motorboat trip to witness the country’s rich marine biodiversity. This includes a unique cold-water species (the Humboldt current), the endangered Humboldt Penguin, and several colonies of sea lions, pelicans, gulls, and other coastal birds.
