Great time walking, talking, and eating - Camila was a wonderful tour guide for the market tour. She was funny and personable, weaving her personal stories into the experience and sharing her knowledge about the different fruits, vegetables, and meats we got to see. We had a mixed group of English and Spanish speakers, and she took care to speak in both languages throughout. She was also our teacher for the cooking class and she continued to be very personable, friendly, and kind. We made a pisco sour, ceviche, and causa. The recipes were easy and fun, and Camila made suggestions on where we could make our own modifications (more or less spice, or flavor ingredients). I would highly recommend this cooking class if visiting, and going on the market tour. If possible, go with Camila and you’ll have the best time.

A delicious and authentic experience in Lima - I had the opportunity to take part in Luchito’s Cooking Class along with the Market Tour, and it was truly an enriching and enjoyable experience. From the very beginning, both Camila, who guided me through the market, and Jorge, who led the cooking class, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and generous with their time and knowledge. The Market Tour was a perfect introduction to local ingredients, with clear explanations and lots of interaction. I discovered new flavors and gained a deeper appreciation for the diversity of Peruvian cuisine. The visit was dynamic and very well organized. During the cooking class, Jorge guided us step by step, making the whole process approachable, fun, and full of flavor. Beyond just preparing traditional dishes, we also got to learn about Peruvian culture through its food and culinary traditions and he also gave us very useful pieces of advice about local places. It was, without a doubt, one of the best activities I did in Lima. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to connect with Peru in a genuine and delicious way.

Had the best time! - I had a great time with Camila at the Market Tour, she taught us all about Peruvian fruits and veggies, we were allowed to try everything! The subsequent cooking class with Luis was very fun, super delicious and we learned a lot about Peruvian cuisine! 🥰

Recommended even on return dates - They arranged everything from preparation to tasting, so I could experience it even in the wee hours before the flight. No problem if you are not good at English. The menu was very good with traditional Peruvian food.
