Brilliant - highly recommended - We booked the three- activity package with Antonio, I causing the canoe excursion, guided night tour and guided Jaguar Trail. Antonio also booked our boat from Tortuguero to Moin. Dealing with Antonio was a pleasure. We had had difficulty in contacting other providers before our vacation but Antonio replied to our messages quickly and made everything easy. He was friendly and very professional. One of his colleagues, Gairo, led our tours and was very very knowledgeable about mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians and plants. We saw a lot and got great value for money. The group sizes were small ( we had maximum four people in a group) and we saw lots of different creatures. Both Antonio and Gairo had perfect English and were able to answer all of our questions. When our 10am boat to Moin was unexpectedly cancelled , Antonio was able to rebook us into the 7am boat and also helped us to arrange for our hire car to meet us in Moin at a new, earlier, time, without extra charge . If I'm ever lucky enough to come back to Tortuguero, I will definitely book with Antonio and TortuTravel. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly , kind and helpful. It's. 10 out of 10 from me

Terrific experience. - Jairo was a great guide for both tours. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Tortuguero and its wildlife. He made sure everyone was able to see each animal and that they had ample time for photos. His telescope and binoculars provided terrific closeups. He pointed out things that we definitely would have missed had we done the tours on our own. The tour company was very responsive addressing the few questions that arose prior to our visit.

Highly recommended! - Tortuguero is a magical area, to enjoy and juice it. We stayed 3 days and 2 nights. We were very lucky to have Antonio as our guide. We carried out several activities with him and advised us and everything we need in Tortuguero. Luckily, we continue to have contact. In short, it was an excellent experience, in a beautiful place, with an unrivalled guide!

Perfect start to your holiday in Costa Rica - Antonio and his wife Carla have given us unforgettable memories. Enough explanation without it feeling like a school trip. And finding animals in the craziest places. Highly recommended!

Magnificent family experience with the best guide - We do the night adventure, spawning and canoe tour, 2 adults and 3 children, and enjoy with each of them. Thanks to Antonio we knew all the fauna that he had explained that we could see and the children listened to their every explanation. Antonio taught us that turtles do not understand dates and that it is also possible to see spawning in June, although it is true that there are more chances in July. Thanks to his interest and passion for his work we managed to see the spawning of the turtle on a rainy night in an experience difficult to forget. A 10 score for Antonio and Tortutravel who managed everything from car parking, transfers to/from La Pavona and all experiences.

Fabulous! - My sister and I met Antonio at the Pavona Harbor dock while waiting for our ferry to Tortuguero. At first we were wary but his professional demeanor and kindness won us over and we booked a night walk. He took care of us every step of the way and arranged transportation for us to and from the tour. On top of all that our guide was Adrian “A Team” who was extremely knowledgeable and fun! We saw sloths, frogs, iguanas and even a boa constrictor! Tortuguero is small and we ran into both Antonio and Adrian the next day and they both took care to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. I would highly recommend you seek out these guys for any tour you are interested in Tortuguero.
