The pier is conveniently located in front of the city, making it easy to explore the small town on foot. This cruise ship tour starts at the port, where guests board an air-conditioned motor coach for a 20-minute drive along picturesque roads, passing charming villages en route to Moin, the starting point of the Tortuguero Canals. Often referred to as Costa Rica’s Amazon due to its surrounding rainforest, the Tortuguero Canal area is teeming with exotic flora and fauna.
