He was the pioneer in growing, producing, and selling tea commercially in Kenya, which is now one of the country’s major exports. The farm has been home to five generations and is currently managed by his granddaughter, Fiona Vernon. The farmhouse is nestled within stunning gardens, surrounded by acres of tea and indigenous forest, home to Colobus monkeys and a variety of wildlife.
