• Kiambethu Farm - The tour begins with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel or accommodation. Arrive at Kiambethu Tea Estate by 11 am, at the main house. Marcus and Fiona warmly welcome guests with homemade biscuits (delicious!) and, naturally, tea, before sharing fascinating stories about the farm and the tea-making process. The gardens surrounding the home are beautiful and perfect for a leisurely stroll, especially to spot the resident colobus monkeys! The tour also includes a walk through the preserved indigenous forest (most of which was cleared for tea farming). The guide is both entertaining and humorous! The tour concludes with a leisurely lunch. Most of the ingredients are locally sourced, and guests should inform them of any dietary requirements when making reservations! Lunch is a three-course meal with complimentary beverages, soft drinks, and, of course, teas and coffee! Return to the city, arriving at approximately 4:30 pm.
