Lovely visit and a place that makes you proud to be British! - We had a wonderful day exploring bomber Command and finding out about the history of this wonderful RAF service men and women who served our country and rescued Europe from the nazi killing machine. We had a tour guy called Andrew who was very informative and highly knowledgeable about the history of of Bomber Command. I would strongly recommend taking the time to go on a tour with a guide, it really was eye-opening and Andrew really was fantastic! I have been before, and this time took my parents and they thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it to anybody and I’m sure it’s a visit you will not regret.

A Poignant and Superbly Designed Memorial - Visited as a group of RAF Halton Craft Apprentice as part of our 55th Year Reunion - and this could not have been any more fitting. We had a tour with our guide Peter Cunningham whose wide and deep knowledge provided us with an insight to the history leading to the formation, need and local build up of the RAF Commands as well as giving background to the dire position we found ourselves in those times. Peter highlighted, superbly, the subtleties of the memorials' design and key elements which we wouldn't have experienced if we had walked around unguided. The whole experience was poignant and moving and more than demonstrated the incredible bravery and fortitude of often very young but 'normal' men and women, many who sacrificed everything. So well worth visiting to further understand and remember the debt we owe to the amazing crews of the RAF's Bomber Command. Thank you Peter.

Wonderful tribute to Bomber Command - This place is a must visit if you are in the Lincoln area. I spent nearly 3 hours here and was very impressed. It is a fantastic tribute to the fallen of Bomber Command. You can walk around the grounds free of charge, but it is well worth paying the entrance fee to view the excellent exhibition. I also went on one of the free guided tours around the grounds and can highly recommend this. There is also a very good cafe on site.

Fascinating, humbling and emotional - I visited for the first time today and was incredibly impressed. I thought it would be a fairly brief visit with a walk around the exhibition and grounds, but we went on the guided tour with an excellent guide called Andrew, who gave us so much information about Bomber Command and passionately brought the history of it to life for us with his incredible knowledge. I felt he really went above and beyond to make our visit interesting. The outdoor memorial was very moving an incredible tribute to those lost. We stopped in the cafe for lunch at the end of our visit. There was a lot of choice and the food was very good quality. Overall our visited lasted 4 hours. I highly recommend a visit to people of all ages. It’s so important that this history is remembered and respected in this way.
