Sunday morning visit - Went to visit on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Lincoln and it was a great trip. Very interesting exhibitions which are also interactive and we went on a tour of the gardens and grounds where Ken Moore was an informative and entertaining tour guide. Overall well worth the visit and good value for the £12 entry fee

Stunning museum with views & a super cafe - Visited this very evocative museum on a miserable cold day but the short films and display items many interactive kept us busy and informed. The stunning museum to Bomber Command is a must and it was fantastic to see there were quite a few women highlighted for their work during the war. Sadly many were never honored as their male colleagues had been. Hopefully one day this will be rectified. From the high advantage point the views should have been amazing and had the weather been kinder I am sure they would have been. Thoroughly recommend the lovely cafe too. Great service and delicious cakes. Thank you

Brilliant little find - Go visit it!! - What a great find this was. We had a littke walk round then did a tour with tour guide Chris who was absolutely brilliant. His talk was so insightful and personal and engaging. The whole place is respectful, thoughtful, tasteful and the exhibition is really interactive which was brilliant for our 7 year old who's head some of the rest of it went over. A brilliant few hours spent here and the ticket lasts a year! Also the food and hot chocolate in the cafe was awesome - the whole place is great value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed it, staff were all so enthusiastic and couldn't do enough for you - highly recommend a visit!

Thought provoking. - This location is primarily a memorial to all the brave airmen who lost their lives but it does have a small museum as well. It’s not a huge comprehensive one but cleverly thought out to make us consider a raid from beginning to end which I found interesting. This way it can be explained you children in a logical format . The cafe also excellent and we enjoyed a superb Sunday lunch and it appears as though quite a few go there simply for the food and garden.

Humbling and Reflective - We visited this amazing place on a recent visit to Lincoln
Ou grateful thanks to Phil our tour guide (ex Vulcan aircrew, AEO ?).
Phil gave us a wonderful and memorable tour of the site, in-spite of the cold temperatures we learned so much in a relatively short period of time
If you are in the area you must take a look, the added bonus of the entrance fee covering a 12 month period was a bonus
Phil’s narrative was so enjoyable - some say FAB !!

thought provoking and interesting Centre - First visit to IBC and it won’t be my last. Very interesting, well thought out centre to commemorate and remember those who served with Bomber Command. We started with a guided tour outside (in the freezing cold) with Geoff, one of the volunteer guides , definitely need to do that again when warmer. Then there is an excellent multi sensory exhibition, a super gift shop and a very good cafe on site. The bonus is that there are stunning views of Lincoln and in particular, the Cathedral. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Admission fee is modest and I would recommend getting an annual pass, virtually the same cost as a day pass. The centre is dog friendly, but dogs are not allowed in the exhibition area. I highly recommend visIting IBC
