Marina de Vilamoura - Vilamoura is the largest luxury complex in the country, featuring a marina, five golf courses, nightclubs, a tennis and diving club, and numerous star-studded hotels.

Vilamoura marina annually welcomes private yachts from around the world. The first, in 1974, was the Royal Highness’s Giralda sailboat, the Count of Barcelona. It has since become a major center for tourism and residential luxury accommodation.

Centro Historico de Albufeira - With three stunning beaches—Fisherman’s Beach, Peneco, and Inatel—Albufeira is a must-visit destination. The colorful fishing boats on Fisherman’s Beach are vivid reminders of a fishing past, maintaining the tradition of offering freshly caught fish to local restaurants.

The continuous threats from North African Corsairs necessitated the construction of a second belt of walls, adapted to new military architecture concepts introduced by the widespread use of artillery. The Portuguese, following the Italian avant-garde model, implemented these in Morocco and other territories within the Empire.

Fortaleza de Sagres - The Fortress of Sagres, also known as the Promotorium Sacrum, was built by order of Prince Henry the Navigator. Visitors can see cannons, a 16th-century tower, and the Church of Our Lady of Grace. A notable feature is the wind rose, a sundial believed by some to date back to the time of the prince and the nautical school he founded in Sagres.

Cape Saint Vincent - Nearby is the Cape St. Vincent Fortress, constructed in the 16th century to protect the coast from Moorish and pirate attacks. Legend has it that the site where the fortress stands once held the remains of Saint Vincent before they were moved to Lisbon.
