• Grutas de Mira de Aire - The Mira de Aire Caves are a series of limestone caves situated in Mira de Aire, within the municipality of Porto de Mós, in the district of Leiria, Portugal. Among these, the Gruta dos Moinhos Velhos is open for tourism and is recognized as a Property of Public Interest. The caves reach a maximum depth of 110 meters and span 11 kilometers, though only the initial few hundred meters are accessible to visitors. Discovered on July 27, 1947, the full extent of the caves as known today was not realized until September 1953. They are part of the Estremenho Limestone Massif, an area covering approximately 900 square kilometers, characterized by dense and durable limestone formations. The interaction of water with limestone results in the formation of underground sinkholes.

• Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima - The Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, often referred to as the Basilica of the Rosário, is a significant part of the Sanctuary of Fátima, located in Cova da Iria, Fátima, within the municipality of Ourém, Portugal.

Construction of the Rosary Basilica commenced in 1928, designed in a neo-baroque style by Dutch architect Gerardus Samuel van Krieken. It is built on the site where the Little Shepherds were playing and constructing a small stone wall when they witnessed a flash they mistook for a thunderstorm on May 13, 1917. The first stone was blessed by the Archbishop of Évora, D. Manuel da Conceição Santos, in 1928, with the consecration occurring on October 7, 1953. In 1954, it was designated as a Minor Basilica by Pope Pius XII.

• Nazare - Praia da Nazaré is a coastal neighborhood of one of Portugal’s most traditional fishing villages, Nazaré, featuring the most frequented beach on the West coast in the Central region. Visitors can still see women in traditional seven-skirt costumes tending to fish drying in the sun, arranged on stakes.

The beach, seamlessly integrated into the urban landscape by the waterfront houses, is bordered to the north by the promontory and to the south by the harbor jetty, maintaining traditional cloth tents with vibrant stripes during the summer. The sea, often rough with strong waves, is perfect for swimming, surfing, and bodyboarding.

• Castelo de Obidos - The name Óbidos likely originates from the Latin word oppidum, meaning “citadel” or “fortified city.” The Romans inhabited the area until the 5th century, leaving after the fall of Rome.

In the 8th century, the Moors constructed a fortification atop the hill, which was later captured by Portugal’s first king, Afonso Henriques (Alphonse I of Portugal), in 1148 and underwent modifications in the 14th century. Visitors can explore the castle and enjoy the historic village.
