From Baixa, Chiado, Alfama to Belém and Sintra: culture-cabaret with Daniele, passion with Elisa and energy with Sara - I learned about Tour Italian Lisbon thanks to a previous experience with Tour Italian Prague, which a few years ago had guided me to discover the beautiful Czech capital. Since that experience was really excellent, I decided to rely on their “Lisboa cousins” to discover another European pearl: Lisbon. Once you have booked your itinerary, all you need to do is open your heart and let yourself be guided: they take care of everything, and the Price quality ratio is really excellent. I had the immense pleasure of participating in both the Free Tour (where we visited the Baixa and Chiado neighborhoods) and the Alfama Tour conducted by Daniele, and it was an all-encompassing experience. Daniele is a competent, helpful, patient and friendly guide, able to combine professionalism and passion. With his charisma and engaging dialectics he managed to convey not only historical and cultural notions, but also the authentic soul of the city. He was able to keep the group together and, icing on the cake, with his comedian spirit and his sympathy he made the climbs light and pleasant, turning fatigue into laughter and curiosity. Among the various options offered by Tour Italian Lisbon, you could not miss a visit to Belém. Elisa was our “Cicerone” in this experience. With clarity, competence and availability, he immersed us in the tales of the Age of Discovery, bringing to life monuments such as the Tower of Belém (unfortunately not open for work in progress), the church of Santa Maria de Belém, the Monument to Discoveries and the Monastery dos Jerónimos. A must was the stop to taste the famous Pastéis de Belém, a true delight of the Lisbon tradition, which made the experience even more memorable. Finally, the visit to Sintra with Sara gave us another dimension of this land. Energetic, theatrical and passionate, Sara led us to the discovery of the Quinta da Regaleira, revealing mysteries, symbolism and stories related to the mysticism and esotericism that permeate every corner of the place making it unique. His energy and enthusiasm turned the tour into a true journey through history, legend and magic. As a last stop (optional), the tour continued to Cabo da Roca and Cascais: impossible to resist the call of the ocean and the breathtaking beauty of the coast. A spectacular and unforgettable ending to our journey. Thanks to Daniele, Elisa and Sara, Lisbon was not only a city to visit, but a total experience, between history, culture, flavors and mysteries.
