What a great way to learn about Lisbon! - Humberto took us off the beaten path and shared some of his own personal history of growing up in Lisbon, and the history of the city and country. He is very passionate about his city and extremely knowledgeable about the history of his own country, but also the geopolitics that shaped Europe and the world. He introduced us to a sweet local treat as well! If there was something he didn't know, he texted it to us later.

Book it now! - We highly recommend Humberto's Lisbon tour. His love and knowledge of his hometown shone through his explanations and stories. Not only did we learn a lot about Lisbon, we are sure that we would not have seen the same places had we gone on another tour.

A nice local walking tour - For a first-hand look at the history and hidden pathways of Lisbon, I recommend taking a walk with Humberto. It was great listening to his stories and having him answer my many historical questions along the way If you’re interested in learning about local life rather than just seeing the iconic sights, this tour would be perfect for you

Complaints before, all thumbs up after—worth every step. - We took this walking tour of Lisbon with Humberto as a family of four, including a 12- and 16-year-old. After already tackling Lisbon’s hills earlier in the day, there was some skepticism going in—but Humberto quickly won everyone over. He was engaging, funny, and shared Portugal’s history and context in a way that was easy to follow and interesting for all ages. What made the tour special was how personal it felt: Humberto connected with each of us and helped us experience Lisbon through the stories and lived perspective of a multi-generational native. His thoughtful recommendations and clear love for his city made it truly worth every step.

It was...fine - We walked through the Bairro Alto neighbourhood and learned some general and different facts about the area and Portugal since the end of Salazar's dictatorship. It was our second choice for a walking tour, and should probably be yours too.
