Culture+history+bike--awesome! - Perfect combination of relaxed biking along the coast, history and cultural insights and local food. Nib's warmth and knowledge about his home shone through and made this an amazing day.

Fantastic Tagus River cycle tour! - A few weeks ago, we did a 4 hour Tagus Coastal tour from Lisbon with Nibs and Jackie (fellow South Africans), and it was a fantastic experience! We started in Belém and cycled along the riverside to Caxias, stopping to look at various landmarks along the way. Our bikes were comfortable and well-maintained, making it easy to enjoy the ride. The meeting spot was conveniently located just outside the busyness of Lisbon.
Nibs shared interesting insights about Lisbon’s past, making the tour not only enjoyable but also informative. We loved the off-the-beaten-track itinerary, which included visits to hidden gems like a stunning garden inspired by Versailles.
The tour ended with a delicious meal of grilled chicken at a lovely family-run restaurant, which was the perfect end to the day. Nibs and Jackie were attentive throughout the tour, always checking to ensure we were managing well. Their warm, relaxed, and authentic approach created a personal atmosphere, and with a small, intimate group, we felt a genuine connection. The incredible weather added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. We are planning to do the 3 day Alentejo tour with them in 2025, can’t wait!

Great was to See Lisbon, Ride with Nibs! - A really well through out tour through Lisbon with amazing scenery. Nibs also took us through parts of the old town that was not inundated with tourists. Could really see Lisbon as a local. Nibs is really knowable with the Lisbon's history and landmarks. Restaurant choice was amazing and the local food delicious. Nibs ensured that we kept to cycle routs and very minimal main road riding. Seeing Lisbon on a bicycle was a fabulous way to see the city out in the open air. Booking the tour was super easy and communication with Jackie & Nibs was top class. Really chilled atmosphere with coms and on the tour. I seriously recommend Vera Cruz Cycling Tours for your cycling needs in Portugal.

Lovely little coastal route in Lisbon - Absolutely loved this tour with Nibs.
He is very knowledgeable about the various landmarks and ready to answer my questions about other things.
I like how leisurely the tour felt.
Never got a sense of being hurried along.
I like how we saw things "off the beaten path"
The beautiful gardens, the end destination (turning point), were stunning.
I liked that we ate at local spots.
The food was delicious!
I'd highly recommend doing this tour.
Good value for money.
A good use of time.
A lovely way of seeing the Lisboa coastline.
Thanks to Nibs, also, for doing the tour, despite the wind and rain at the start...
We pressed on, and then the glorious sunshine came out!
Plus I got a little goodies bag at the end with a cap and a bottle.

Great experance - Having been on few cycling tours around Europe and having never been to Portugal i was really looking forward to this trip.
I can honestly say from the day i booked it to the day we came home everting was very well organised.
The choice of routes was spot on and tailored to suit our group with a pace and distance that suited everyone.
All the pit stops during the days rides were well planed and placed in great locations to allow you to have a break and take in the local culture.
The scenery along the routes is truly breath taking and photos alone do not do it justice.
Again, lunch and dinner location were fantastic and again focused on the local traditions.
Overnight accommodation again, in great locations and very comfortable.
I will certainly be going back this year.

Can’t think of a better way to discover the Lisbon Coast. - I absolutely loved this tour. We got to discover many hidden gems . Nibs was an excellent guide with a passionate knowledge of the history, geography. and culture of Portugal. The hearty Portuguese lunch was great.

Great hassle-free cycling tour in Portugal managed by Vera Vruz Cycling Tours Portugal - Had an amazing time and experience cycling in Portugal with Vera Cruz Cycling Tours Portugal. The whole tour from start to finish was extremely well managed and the team made sure everyone was well looked after throughout the ride and tour. Nibs has a vast and thorough knowledge of Portugal and is very keen to share this knowledge and experience along the route. I would definitely recommend using Vera Cruz Cycling Tours Portugal if you are looking for tours that are well managed so as to allow you relax and enjoy your cycling without any worries or hassles.

Relaxed, informative and well organized - Absolutely wonderful day tour of the Lisbon Coast. All elements of the day was very well organised. Nibs is a very informative and friendly guide. Lunch was great as well. I would definitely recommend Vera Cruz Cycling Tours.
