Lisbon Food tour with Pedro is terrific! - Pedro was terrific. We did a private tour so he was able to show us so much of Lisbon beyond all the food spots. Highly recommend this tour. We do it every time we travel to a new city and are never disappointed. Thanks Pedro for a great afternoon.

A Delicious Journey Through Portugal’s History and Culture - Annette was absolutely amazing. She brought so much depth to the tour, not just explaining the food but connecting each dish to Portugal’s history of travel, trade, and cultural exchange. Her stories were fun, personal, and genuinely interesting, and her upbeat energy was especially appreciated on a rainy day. The tasting was a beautiful exploration of traditional Portuguese dishes shaped by centuries of influence. We started with Portuguese style samosas, chamuças, a nod to African and Indian trade routes, filled with spiced meat and served with homemade piri piri on the side. The classic bifana, thin sliced pork simmered in white wine and garlic, was simple and delicious. Smoky chouriço paired with tangy pickled vegetables followed, then the comforting Bacalhau à Brás, salt cod with potatoes, onion, and egg, a true staple of Portuguese homes. Caldo Verde, the traditional kale and potato soup, felt nostalgic and warming. The octopus salad was tender and bright with olive oil and herbs. We loved the local cheese platter with pumpkin purée, the perfect sweet and savory pairing. Of course, we sipped Ginjinha like locals and finished with the iconic pastel de nata, flaky, creamy, and the perfect ending. It was more than a food tour, it was a cultural experience. Highly recommend.

Best Food Tour Ever! - My family and I travel overseas at least once a year. We have family that live in Europe. Every city we go to, the first tour we do is a food tour to learn the lay of the land. This tour was hands down the best food tour I have ever done! Melissa was fantastic. We learned so much about Lisbon's history, food and culture in a short amount of time. I will use her again in the future when we travel to Lisbon.

One of the best food & wine tours I’ve ever done - I absolutely loved this tour. The selection of restaurants and Portuguese food was excellent—thoughtful, authentic, and delicious across the board. This is easily one of the best food tours I’ve been on. Calling it a “tasting” is an understatement. The portions and wine pours were very generous, to the point where you’ll leave full and happy (pace yourself). Our guide Amanda was fantastic—warm, engaging, and knowledgeable. She shared great historical context while walking between stops, which added real depth to the experience rather than feeling like filler. If you’re even remotely interested in food, wine, or understanding Lisbon through what it eats, this tour is a must.
