Beautiful discovery - Our day with Filipa was really appreciated. She introduced us to the history of Portugal and visits to important corners of the city that we would not have done on our own

Dynamic History Revealed - We only had one day in Lisbon. That was unfortunate. Because I would’ve liked to have spent another day with our guide Nunu. He has such an amazing knowledge of history and can tell you what was built where and when in the entire city. Dating back to 6000 years ago.

Amazing - We had an incredible experience in Lisbon thanks to our amazing tour guide. From the moment the tour started, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the city’s history and culture. Great Lisbon overview - Valerio T was our private tour guide. He picked us up promptly at the cruise port as requested. He gave us a perfectly paced tour of the old and new areas of the city. Valerio is a wealth of information about any topic we asked--history, architecture, culture, food, politics etc. I would recommend this tour for anyone interested in a quick overview of the city. We only had one day to enjoy Lisbon but hope to return with more time available.

LISBON is a beautiful city to see - Lisbon is a beautiful city and beautiful to see at Christmastime!!
Our guide was NUNO GONCALVES a life long resident of Lisbon from Selection Tours through Viator. If you want to learn the history and understand the beautiful architecture of Lisbon this is the perfect tour to take. We started at Belém Tower, then Monument to the Discoveries (he explained to us every person on this monument), the Jeronimos Monastery and 10 more sites. We stopped at 2 local places one for a Pasteis de Nata treat and later we had a wonderful lunch at another family owned restaurant Trigo Latino. He parked his van and we walked the beautiful cobblestone type narrow and hilly streets as he explained the history of these neighborhoods.
An 8 hour tour is not enough but having a local resident guide is truly the best way to see Lisbon. You will want to see more !!

THE BEST WAY TO SEE LISBON! - Without going into great detail...THIS WAS SO WORTH IT! We did more with our guide in 8 hours than we did the other three days. We enjoyed getting to know Lisbon from a historic view, but getting to know the people and the culture was AMAZING!

Best way to experience Lisbon! - We had an amazing day. Our guide, Lourenco, was wonderful. He took us to all the important sites we had hoped to see and explained to us the history behind each point. He was very accommodating and tailored the day to what we hoped to gain from it. We had some time to explore each area between stops if we wanted. He took us to a cool market for lunch, some great coffee stops and recommended places for dinner. We highly recommend this experience.

If you’re going to be in Lisbon, this the guide you want - Wonderful day with Philip, despite starting out with rainy conditions, he quickly adjusted the tour to make sure we saw the remarkable sights of Lisbon in a day. The weather cleared and we were treated to a guide who shared history and knowledge with us in a way that was enjoyable for those 16-60. He was the best part of our trip by far, and the guide to really orient us to the area so we could enjoy it more.

Great Tour - This was a really fun tour with our guide Anna. We did the tour on our first full day in Lisbon and by the time the day was over, we had a pretty good feel for the city. Anna gave us a lot of tips on other things to do later in our trip. Highlights for me were the Belem tower and the monument to the explorers in Belem (plus the visit to the pastry shop for Pasties of Belem). Anna gave a great history of Portugese exploration. Also enjoyed the church at Santo Domingo. Great way to start a visit in Lisbon.
