Brief good experience - It was a great way to get around and see different sites around town some hills. Feels short just one hour but sufficient to get the experience. I recommend buying in person because I bought online through Viator and it was much more expensive. It’s nice to get the 24-hour access to elevator, funicular and trams included. I recommend buying in person from arch in plaza of commerce

It's a must-do. - For a daily pass for €7 you can travel in these antique trams allowing to visit the city, and in addition it falls full access to the food and bus to move elsewhere in the city.

Uphill by tram in Lisbon. - Perhaps the most fun experience in Lisbon, though shaky and howling of rails in the turns. Steep slopes were cool in short. Sitting at the front of the trolley contributed to the excitement and see how the driver handled the lever. BUT it requires you to be up riding. At least eight o'clock. We let the lines grow from our hotel dining room. By 10:30, it was 60 meters long. In our early days there were many local, schoolchildren and shopping that increased the experience.

Worth paying extra for a ride in the famous Tram 28 Route - Wanted to experience the famous Lisbon Tram, especially around the districts like Alfama and avoid the long queue with the yellow 28E tram, paid more for comfort and audio guide. The bonus is the ticket gets you free ride on Santa Justa Elevator, funiculars and public trams!

Red tramcar tour - Once you've done the red tram tour don't bother with tram 28 it's similar.route and no audio. Also tram 12 does the same route.

Quick and Scenic - Great way to see the city without walking up all the hills. The tram leaves every 20 minutes, you can buy tickets there. You do not get any preferential treatment/seating/boarding if you buy in advance.

If you don't like walking and strolling with your nose up - 25 € per person for 1 hour tour. In my opinion a little expensive but if you have trouble walking and the cobblestones do not facilitate travel then it is a good way to see quietly the old town.

Don’t bother - We first did this trip in 2024 and really enjoyed it. Back in Lisbon in 2025 we thought we’d do it again - big mistake. This year it is about half the length of last year - the whole second section is missing. Also, the trip operates in reverse, so you approach the cathedral from the back, not the front, for example. Such a shame, don’t waste your money, we wish we hadn’t.

Dont ever think to get on tram 28.. take a bus going to castle - İt is impossible to get on tram 28. You have to wait for more than 2 hrs.. instead we took tuk tuk which is expensive, 90 euros for two people for 90 min.. you have to bargain.. after waiting 2 hrs you lose your energy and time to get around
