• Pastéis de Belém - Known for its history and tradition, Pastéis de Belém is the go-to patisserie to taste the authentic pastel de nata (custard tart) in Lisbon. The tarts began production in 1837 in new facilities by pastry chefs who were entrusted with the secret monastery recipe. • Padrão dos Descobrimentos - Standing 52 meters tall, this monument was created to honor Portugal’s Age of Discoveries. The Monument to the Discoveries features a group of sculptures representing the prow of a caravel, led by Prince Henry the Navigator, with other notable Portuguese explorers behind him.

• Parque Eduardo VII - This park offers one of the best viewpoints over the city. From here, you can easily see Liberty Avenue and Marquis de Pombal Square, named after the Portuguese minister who ruled the country following the great earthquake of 1755 and led the city’s reconstruction.
