Participants will have the chance to admire the exquisite tiles that embellish many of the city’s buildings, learn about the history of the Marquis of Pombal and his role in the city’s reconstruction after the 1755 earthquake, and explore the legends, stories, and intriguing facts about Lisbon’s past. The tour will follow the Tejo River, discussing the Carnation Revolution, a pivotal moment in Portugal’s history that altered the nation’s trajectory, among many other fascinating topics. The tour concludes at the magnificent Praça do Comércio, where participants can appreciate its breathtaking architecture and panoramic views.
