- Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria - We will be setting into an immersive cultural tour of the infamous Mouraria district. You will be exploring its multicultural side, its hidden budlings, and various secrets, and we will enjoy some spectacular street art while climbing up through history and communities. We will end up having a wonderful dinner in an African family restaurant, and may even explore jazz or samba elements through the neighborhoods’ live local jam sessions.
- Sao Cristovao - We will be having a wonderful African dish as one of the oldest restaurants in town. Dona Maria has been running her business for over 45 years. Normally her brother plays live music entertaining guests with African tunes.
- Chapito - Depending on the night of the week we may be visiting one of the most emblematic alternative bar in Lisbon dating since the early 1990s. The location offers live music ranging from samba to world beats. Chapito is more than a cultural fun venue but also a pupeteer school working closely with the homeless to support their skill enhancement and society integration.

Unforgettable Experience - If you’re not afraid to fall in love with Lisbon, book this experience. This was beyond anything I could have imagined. The food, drinks, sights, smells, the views. The authentic human connections and the self-reflection. Words cannot describe how wonderful this experience was. I will remember this night for the rest of my life.

Best of Lisbon - Teddy is the best tour director ever! His passion is contagious, and his love for the city shines through every part of the experience. He goes above and beyond—what you get far exceeds the cost. The tour was grounding, healing, and incredibly informative. Teddy is deeply knowledgeable, welcoming to everyone, and truly engages with the group’s interests. I honestly don’t think I would’ve had such a powerful experience without him. I'm so glad I went on this trip!

Do this on night one!! - Amazing time and experience and I feel like l've met some new global friends to connect with when we're in the same place again. Such a fun night out, exploring FLAVOR in a place devoid of such a thing.... You should definitely do this when you first arrive in Lisbon instead of your last day.
What’s cool is that folks who’ve taken the tour may show back up to join you at different parts of the evening, building a great community, particularly for solo travelers like me. We ended up celebrating a birthday and enjoying birthday cake with Portuguese strangers at a Fado bar. A vibe!
Perhaps I would've actually enjoyed the city if I had started with Teddy's intro.
Thanks for being my highlight of Portugal!

Best tour I've been on: beyond the typical tourist sights - Very extensive tour, which can continue into the wee hours - but this is flexible, depending on your preferences. A fantastic, behind-the-scenes look at many local businesses and unusual ethnic food finds. The host is connected to many local communities and can speak fluently about recent changes in different parts of Lisbon. This is a one-of-a-kind, thorough exploration of the castle hill and its neighborhoods, with plenty of time to listen to local musicians and discover the hidden delights, tastes, and sounds of Chapati, Lisbon's circus school.

Great tour of a different side of Lisbon - I was born in Lisbon but don't know the area of the city covered by the tour very well so decided to give it a try. It was a great experience that allowed me to enjoy a facet of Lisbon I don't get to see very often. Teddy knows all the best places and people and has a lot of knowledge to share, so time absolutely flew by while on the tour. Absolutely recommend!

Geheimnisse und Überraschungen in Lissabon :-) - Thanks for this very diverse and so lively experience! We saw so many different places and it was like travelling to a whole other world in only some hours. I got to here live music and I enjoyed feeling, listening, smelling to Lisbon's secrets. :)

Unique and amazing - I really enjoyed the experience with Teddy and seeing parts of Lisbon outside of tourist routes.
Teddy is a natural storyteller with a generous personality and his cultural and social knowledge widened my understanding of the city; plus the tour was perfectly paced and if anything felt more like a slow day out exploring.
I also felt safe walking with Teddy in the evening in areas I otherwise might not have explored alone, which added to the authenticity and led to some amazing finds for the rest of my trip.
I highly recommend this experience to adventurers, those with a open mind, and people who like seeing alternative sides to a city.

Awesome experience! - If you’re heading to Lisbon, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Teddy. Hands down, this was the best thing I did during my trip—it’s not just a tour; it’s like exploring the city with a friend who knows all the secrets and brings the cultural experience to you!
We hit up these incredible local bars and restaurants that I never would’ve found on my own. The kind of spots where the vibe is buzzing, the food is out of this world, and the drinks keep coming—but without the tourist trap prices. Seriously, every single place we went had something special.
What made it even better was how much Teddy knows about Lisbon. He’s not just rattling off facts; he shares stories and history in a way that makes you feel connected to the city. Walking through those streets, you get to see both the highlights and the hidden corners—the stuff only locals know about.
He showed us a spot with live music and it had its own unique vibe where you felt like you were getting a real taste of Lisbons’s culture!
Teddy definitely made me feel welcome and apart of something special. Especially considering, I joined last minuets and unexpected! He still let me tag along! It was fun, personal, and honestly, one of the best ways to really feel what Lisbon is all about. I’d recommend this tour to anyone—it was the absolute highlight of my time here. You’ll leave with a full belly, new friends, and a big appreciation for this amazing city.

A glimpse of Lisbon’s creativity & warmth - This was truly an insider view of Lisbon—underground restaurants, secret clubs, bars and venues that will never show up in a tour book. Teddy clearly loves his adopted home. His continued curiosity has led to some special discoveries. The stops and sites are not just locations—they have stories and friendships that a generously shared.
I would 100% sign up the tour again.
