Awesome. - An absolutely incredible experience and day out in the Portuguese countryside with Lawrence! I don’t even know where to begin, but this tour is so much more than just seeing Sintra—it’s about making friends, sharing meals, and enjoying what I consider the best day of our entire trip. I don’t want to spoil any of the fun or surprises for others, but I now see this as a must-do in Lisbon. If you skip it, you’re seriously missing out!

Good day trip from Lisbon - I really enjoyed the tour. Regaleira Tour was very informative. We ate lunch at a local house with traditional Portuguese food. Amazing. Great day.

Don't miss out on Keep It Local Tour Sintra tour! - I just returned from 10 days in Portugal and one of the highlights was the day I spent on the Sintra Tour with Keep It Local Tours. Our guide Pedro was so knowledgeable and informative and, brought the Quinta da Regalia to life. Plus, he's fun! The lunch that we had at a home was the best meal that I had in Portugal! Additional stops gave an overview of this beautiful area. I also appreciated that this was a small group. There were 7 of us including Pedro.

Our guide and small group... - Our guide and small group was perfect for exploring! We learned a ton and were able to connect as a group. Our guide made us feel special, provided fun surprises along the way, and even gave us recommendations for the city of Lisbon as well afterwards. Great way to see Sintra. Timing of everything was great. Only thing I did not love was the location we stopped for lunch. The food was good, but expensive and we had to pay that set price in cash only, which was a bit annoying to me. Otherwise, fantastic trip.

Great balance of nature and palaces - The tour was unique and very informative and interesting. I appreciated the balance of seeing one of Sintra’s palaces in detail alongside the incredible natural beauty in this area. Our guide David was friendly and warm and answered all of our questions. As a solo traveler, this was a fun way to meet a few other people traveling on their own.

Great day in Sintra - Our tour was excellent. We enjoyed the castle, beach and lunch. Joao was a very good guide who made the tour fun. We spent very little time in line like other visitors. I would strongly recommend the Epic Tour of Sintra.

Perfect day excursion to highlight the best of Sintra. My 11 and 14 yr old daughters had a blast! - Loved our day with our guide, David. We brought our 11 and 14 yr olds daughters, and they loved it. it was the perfect combination of riding and sightseeing. David and his company have premier parking at the castle, and their restaurant connections gave me one of my best meals in Portugal! He did a great job of learning the people in our group and what we wanted out of the day, tailoring it to each. His van was equipped with a frisbee and ball for the beach - which made it even more fun. Thank you, David!

Would not recommend - The gardens, the well and the caves were very interesting. Our guide didn’t provide many facts about the places we visited. He had a lot of details about plants and trees but very little info on the places. He was frequently speaking to only 1-2 people in the group and others couldn’t hear him. Even in the van he was so soft spoke we continuously had to ask him to repeat or speak up. People in the back basically gave up and just couldn’t hear anything. Lunch was fine. The surprise at the end was a horrible liquor that almost no one drank. We’ve toured a lot and this is in the bottom 5% for us. Would not recommend unless you want to learn a LOT about plants.
