  The Paiva Walkways, also known as Passadiços do Paiva, are a set of wooden walkways and hiking trails located along the Paiva River in the Arouca Geopark, not far from Porto in northern Portugal. If you are traveling from Lisbon to the Paiva Walkways, here’s a general guide:
• Arouca Geopark - As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, there isn’t a specific “Arouca Park” that is widely recognized. However, it’s possible that there have been developments or new attractions created since then. If there is a new park or attraction in Arouca that has gained prominence after that date, I recommend checking more recent sources for the latest information.
• Castelo de Paiva - The Paiva River (Rio Paiva) is a river in northern Portugal, flowing through the Aveiro and Porto districts. It is one of the major rivers in the region and is known for its natural beauty, particularly in the area around the Arouca Geopark.
• Paiva walkway - The duration of the walk can vary based on individual walking speed and the time spent enjoying the scenery. On average, it takes around 2 to 3 hours to complete the trail.
