- Livadia - Nestled on the western edge of the Kopaida valley, Livadia is traversed by the Erkyna River. Its charming neighborhoods and historic houses are captivating, while the stone bridges at the Krya springs offer a delightful natural setting with evergreen plane trees, natural waterfalls, and windmills. Visitors can explore the Byzantine Castle, the Oracle (an underground stone structure), the stone Theatre, and the Clock. Enjoy a quick meal and savor the town’s renowned traditional souvlaki, or wander around and enjoy a coffee.
- Monastery of Hosios Loukas - Located near Distomo in Boeotia, Greece, the historic walled Monastery of Hosios Loukas was founded in the mid-10th century. It stands as a significant monument of Middle Byzantine architecture and art and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990, alongside the monasteries of Nea Moni and Daphnion. Situated on the scenic slopes of Mount Helicon, the monastery was established in the early 10th century AD by the hermit Venerable Luke of Steiris, whose relics remain there today.
- Delphi Archaeological Museum - One of Greece’s most important museums, the Archaeological Museum of Delphi showcases the history of the renowned Delphic sanctuary and the ancient Greek world’s most famous oracle. Its extensive collections primarily feature architectural sculptures, statues, and micro-artworks, as well as dedications from the faithful to the sanctuary, reflecting its religious, political, and artistic significance from the 8th century BC until its decline in late antiquity.
- Temple of Apollo - The visible ruins of the Temple of Apollo date back to the fourth century BC and are of a peripteral Doric design. Constructed by Spintharus, Xenodoros, and Agathon, it was built on the remains of an earlier sixth-century BC temple, which itself was erected on a seventh-century BC site attributed in legend to architects Trophonios and Agamedes.
- The Tholos of Delphi - The tholos at the sanctuary of Athena Pronaea is a circular structure built between 380 and 360 BC. It featured 20 Doric columns with an exterior diameter of 14.76 meters and 10 Corinthian columns inside. Located about half a mile from Delphi’s main ruins, three of the Doric columns have been restored, making it a popular spot for tourist photographs.
- Ancient Stadium of Delphi - Situated at the highest point of the Archaeological Site of Delphi, the Stadium of Delphi overlooks the sanctuary of Apollo and offers views of the Delphic landscape. Constructed in the latter half of the 4th century BC or possibly after the Galatian attacks, it measures 178 meters in length and has undergone several refurbishments. It is the best-preserved ancient stadium in Greece.
- Ancient Theatre - The ancient theatre at Delphi is located further up the hill from the Temple of Apollo, providing spectators with views of the entire sanctuary and the valley below. Originally built in the fourth century BC, it was remodeled several times, notably in 160/159 BC by King Eumenes II of Pergamon and in 67 AD during Emperor Nero’s visit.
- Delphi - Nestled at the foot of Mount Parnassos, in a captivating natural landscape between the mysterious Phaedriades rocks, lies the pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, the most renowned oracle of ancient Greece. Considered the navel of the earth, Delphi was where, according to mythology, Zeus’s eagles met to find the world’s center. For centuries, it served as the spiritual and religious hub and symbol of unity for ancient Hellenism. In 1987, Delphi was designated a UNESCO monument. Today, Delphi is both a municipality and a modern town adjacent to the ancient site, created after relocating buildings from the sacred precinct for excavation. Visitors can explore the town and enjoy a meal.
- Arachova - Arachova is a picturesque mountainous village at the base of Mt. Parnassos in Viotia, Southern Greece. It is Greece’s most cosmopolitan winter destination, favored by ski enthusiasts, celebrities, and first-time visitors seeking relaxation in a dreamy mountain setting with modern tourism amenities. Its modern ski resort, proximity to Athens, and stunning mountainous scenery are key attractions. Beyond mountain activities, Arachova is renowned for its vibrant nightlife and is a favorite mountain retreat for Athenians.
