Wonderful way of seeing the best of Liverpool - We started off with the ferry across the Mersey and were lucky enough to have a dry sunny day. Interesting facts along the way and a great view of each side. Very enjoyable. After a break we then went on the city bus tour with Eileen as our guide. Loved being on the top of the bus with great views and loads of information about the sights and history of Liverpool. We stayed on the whole way round and then looped again to get off at the Cavern club stop. Would definitely recommend.

Good value boat trip on the Mersey - Good value for money cruise along the Mersey, with plenty of interesting information provided. Well organised and staff friendly and helpful. The playing of Gerry Marsden singing Ferry across the Mersey at the end is a nice touch. Would recommend if visiting Liverpool

Brilliant City Tour & River Cruise – Worth Every Penny! - I recently did the city bus tour and river cruise, and both were absolutely fantastic. The river cruise lasted around 60 minutes and the bus tour around 50 minutes, which felt just right to take everything in. The highlight for me was the bus tour guide, Viv, who was outstanding – she really brought the city’s history to life in such an engaging and memorable way. It made the experience even more enjoyable and informative. Both tours are well organised, great value for money, and suitable for all ages. Whether you’re young or old, I’d highly recommend giving this a try – it’s a brilliant way to see the city from two perspectives and learn so much along the way.

Exceptional bargain - Good tour, excellent value. Did not have to pay until day ahead. Easy start from cruise ship. No headphones on either hourly ferry or every 15-minute hop on hop off bus. Both had good acoustics & humans giving info as we went along. Gave extra personalized info about stops.

A Fine Look at a Great City - River cruise: pleasant but imperfect. The recorded commentary was hard to hear for us and often out of sync with the sights. We used Google Maps to match landmarks and that helped. The sail itself is lovely—seeing Liverpool from the Mersey is absolutely worth it. Note: our boat wasn’t the brightly painted one shown in some photos; the alternate vessel felt a bit tired. Staff were calm, friendly and helpful. City sightseeing bus: excellent. Our live guide was funny, chatty, and full of stories, which made the ~1-hour loop fly by. You get a great overview of the city’s history, music, and architecture with plenty of anecdotes. We hopped off at the Royal Albert Dock—great spot to wander and grab lunch—then walked on to the Everton stadium (Hill Dickinson). All in, more than worth it. Tips: • If you can, choose a cruise with live commentary or ask if the audio is working well. • Bring a layer; it’s breezy on the river. • For skyline views, sit on the upper deck and keep your camera ready when approaching the Three Graces. • The bus + boat combo is good value if you plan to hop off at a few stops.

So far, not impressed with Viator. - Not very clear on where to get your tickets or show your online tickets. I booked 2 events with this company. The other tour was supposed to be Saturday night, but it got canceled due to poor weather. I did NOT cancel the tour. They sent me a message saying we canceled therefore I would not be receiving a refund.

Do not use Viator they are a scam - This review is for Viator Do not use Viator to book any thing they are an absolute bunch of scammers. I booked ifc cable car in London. When we arrived at the cable car base to show our ticket and we were told it was shut down because of high winds. When I reported this to Viator they rejected my claim that this wasnt true and of course I can’t prove it I’m not in London any more. Also when I was in Belfast we booked a hopon bus for after the titanic Belfast museum but the tour and museum took so long the hop on bus was done for the day I reported it to Viator right away in live chat and again I was rejected so hex on you Viator terrible customer service never again will I book with to you after you stole $200 cad from me
