Great Experience. - Gilly and Neil were awesome! Super friendly and helpful! Amazing grounds and extremely informative tour. My family is much more knowledgeable about the Beatles … but we all learned interesting facts and loved seeing the history. Thank you for a great experience.

Birthday trip for Husband - Great tour with some interesting local facts we didn’t know even though we are local! Audio guide was good and quite easy to use. Grounds were lovely and quite peaceful even though there are roads around the site. The weather was glorious. Had a nice lunch in the cafe as well. Coffee was really good too. Price of ticket for the exhibition is worth the money. Also great to see the employment initiative’Steps to work’ in practice. There should be more employers supporting young people with additional needs into gainful employment!

Well worth a visit - A brilliant visitor centre that explores the history of the John Lennon song as well as the former Salvation Army building that once stood on the site. Lots to learn and see including John's "Imagine" piano and other artefacts. Exploring the garden was another highlight via an audio tour and the signs with Beatle's lyrics on were poignant. The cafe was very busy and the staff in the centre were brilliant- nice to get a welcome as you enter the building. A credit to Liverpool !

Fab - Had a great afternoon at Strawberry Field. In the cafe and in the gift shop the staff were all friendly and the food was excellent, big portions and lovely sandwiches, and very reasonable price wise. Loved the exhibition that gives you some background on the Salvation Army connection, and to see the piano that John composed Imagine on is magical, and so fitting that it is in a place he enjoyed visiting as a young boy. We had a very pleasant walk in the grounds to finish off our time there. Well done to all at the venue, we all had a lovely experience.

A great experience for avid and casual Beatles fans. - A lovely day out. The exhibition just enough and the shop and cafe are both really well presented and spotlessly clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful too. Good vibes all around here.

The best visit of it’s kind in my opinion - Quite literally a phenomenal visit. You learn so much and if you are a fan of any part of the history of John Lennon’s life and times and how his early years influenced him then I think you might find this a very moving visit. The fact that The Salvation Army together with those such as Julia Baird keeping her brother’s legacy alive have managed to create a haven of such peace and well being while entertaining and educating in what is actually a small place is a sensation in itself. Please try and visit here. Beyond those gates lies a remarkable history and somewhere that today is needed and its lessons more than ever.
