Excellent night tour of London - Excellent night tour of London with guide Lea and driver Emmanuel. Informative and interesting way to see London over a couple of hours. Would recommend.

Great experience - Motez is amazing , he gave us really good informations about the tours and helped us to go in the right bus . I give you an advice to take the blue line you see everything. We will use again bigbus for sure

Okay probably better uses for your money - It was fine. The narration was cute & it went a few places that we hadn’t seen before. Unfortunately the sun didn’t set until 9:15 & tour was over by 9:30. It could be so much better. They could have live narration or do something different other than rely on the night to make the experience better. The tour does not stop so it’s pretty comprehensive.

Change the commentary - The young lad who sold us out tickets was great. A real charmer, excellent sales person without being overly pushy. However our live commentator was a young girl who spoke far too fast and constantly for the 2 hours. Her chat also involved a lot of her biased opinions on politics, religion and actually gave a few bits of wrong information! It does annoy me when a visitor to our country (the young girl said she was on a working visitor visa) can criticise our country and be in a position where she can voice this to other foreign visitors.

A bus tour turned sour. - The tour took forever and the driver today was very belligerent. He growled and answered back loudly and rudely with passengers.

Poorly organized - Poorly organized. They don’t tell you if the route deviates. Also, once you are on and they don’t indicate they are moving a different direction you are trapped and likely on it for an extra hour than planned. No one to help on the bus and the bus drivers are argumentative. Bus is extremely overcrowded. Advise different any other tour

Very disappointing – not a tour, just transportation - We were really disappointed with the Hop-On Hop-Off experience in London. On both the red and blue lines, about 95% of the ride was just music – barely any explanations, context, or historical facts were provided. We didn’t learn anything from the ride, which completely defeats the purpose of a sightseeing tour.
The only positive thing is that buses do come every so often, so it’s somewhat reliable if you’re just looking to get from point A to point B. But make no mistake: this is NOT a guided tour – it’s just a means of transport with a high price tag. Definitely not worth it if you're hoping to explore and learn about the city.

Buyer beware - Absolutely unacceptable experience. I witnessed the bus driver engage in an aggressive altercation with another driver, complete with offensive hand gestures and confrontational behaviour. It genuinely felt like a physical fight was about to break out.
Beyond the driver’s conduct, the ride itself was chaotic. The traffic was horrendous, which I can understand happens—but the bus was severely overcrowded, leaving people crammed in with no room to breathe. To make matters worse, the company refuses to offer any refunds or compensation, despite the poor conditions and disturbing experience.
This was not just inconvenient—it was stressful and unsettling. I won’t be using this service ever again. Take the Tube!
