Hop on with your Viator... - Hop on with your Viator ticket at any Big Bus stop. Short waits except the green route. Prepare for 30+minutes on the green route. Great way to get oriented.

London from three perspectives. - The hop on hop off was a great way to get a feel for London. The Eye was a relaxed experience that was memorable. The river cruise was also good.

Get the high view and then the street view. - This was our first trip to London and it was packed with people. The tourist area along the river was a madhouse of all ages and hundreds of kids. We had these tickets to the Eye and they required picking a time to enter so that dictates your day plan. The Eye is a good attraction and allows good views of that area of London and I liked it. The Cruise was just a crowded boat ride between the eye and the Tower Bridge where we got off to catch the Hop on Bus. That turned out to be a real challenge finding the bus stop and we walked around way more than we wanted. They claim that the stops are well marked but that is false. Some of the signs include many other bus companies in small type. Once we learned the app it was better. We did not feel well because we learned later that the crowds gave us Covid. The route has about 45 possible stops but we just rode it the full loop.

Overcrowded and Unsafe - When we boarded the bus it was overcrowded and we had no seat however the driver kept letting more customers on. We are in our 60’s and stood for over an hour - we had no ability to hook in our ear phones or see out the windows easily. Because we persevered until we had a seat we ran out of time for the London eye and the cruise. Yes it was peak summer holidays but I’d bought my tickets months before. We are still in London - today is our last day but so very disappointing

Big Bus London, Walking is faster, waste of money - Got the 48 hour ticket because we thought this would be a nice way to get around the city while we were there. Our experience is that the busses only arrived an hour or more at each stop. Even though the app and other maps say every 20-30 mins, so please note each bus is an hour each not ever 20-30 minutes! Lots of time stuck in traffic but guide was good. But then we got to a stop and they said this bus is changing lines, it is now doing the blue instead of red route , so into the wrong direction we didn't want to go. We didn't feel like another hour wait. We didn't even use this the second day we just opted for taking the tube, so abit of waste of time and money in my opinion. If Im only in town for 2 days I don't want to waste time, so do something different don't do this.

Bad customer service - Due to protest in Central London on Saturday there were many road blocks and road closures. Waste of time and money. Cannot contact Big bus as telephone number on itinerary does not work. Why sell tickets when there is going to be a protest. £150 wasted

Lack of information, accuracy, and buses - Quick version: poor information, website out of date / incorrect, and clearly much less frequent than all their rivals. TLDR: booked the Big Bus combination ticket with the London Eye; plan was to go the Natural History Museum after the London Eye, so went to bus stop 12 (nearest to the Eye) but was told the buses weren't stopping there, so went bus stop 19; no buses came for 20ish minutes - the driver from a Golden Tours told us to maybe try bus stop 11. At bus stop 11 we found a semi-helpful, kind-of polite (ish) Big Bus employee explaining that there were issues with road closures changing which stops were being used (all the other tour bus companies seemed to be operating fine, and there were many more of them), but that a westbound bus would here in less than 15 mins . After nearly half an hour of standing in the sun with three increasingly impatient kids, we took the underground to Kensington. Do not recommend.
