Jawsome !! - Had a "fin tastic" day out with my son and met some really lovely staff. Namely Sam down in the ocean area who was doing a talk about all the animals and had a real green sea turle shell. My son loved hearing about all the ocean animals and feeling the turtle shell! We carried on walking and needed a drink so stopped at the cafe area where "Do you know anything about the sharks?" turned out to be the perfect question to ask the man behind the bar, Kit. He told me and my eager 10 year old all he knew about the ones here and a bunch of other sharks and other animals as well. My son struggles with staying focused and was asking a million questions but kit answered them all with such enthusiasm and ease, it was so lovely to see!!! Thank you so much!

Amazing - At the start, there was an aquarium under us and it was exiting looking at it. They had some refreshments for you in case you wanted and a range of coin booths. They had VR expierences and even a Bubble Tea refreshment stall!!!

A dive into wonder… with a small bitter note - The aquarium is really well maintained, clean, and well organized. The tanks are spectacular, filled with fascinating creatures and easy to observe. The staff is kind and helpful, always ready to answer questions with a smile. It was an exciting experience even for the little ones—my son was absolutely mesmerized by every tank! It’s great to see so many carefully recreated environments, with light effects, underwater tunnels, and tropical fish. The only real downside is related to online booking: the website promises at least £10 off when buying tickets online, but if you purchase for the same day, that discount disappears. A small detail that leaves a bad taste, especially for last-minute visitors. I still recommend the visit, but double-check ticket details before buying online.

Great Day Out - Finding something to do on a wet and windy day should include this. Very well laid out and I enjoyed it going alone! With it being a bank holiday, it was quite busy. Great time spent watching all the various animals, would recommend to families with young children.

Underground does NOT mean Cooler Temperature - This started interesting enough. It was extremely hot day and even though this was underground, it was very hot. Then there was school kids who came after us making the viewing areas crowded. There was not enough signage. We needed bathroom facilities and there was no signage let alone anyone to help where to go. We ended up backtracking and leaving early. We would have continued but again the kids blocked some area's. Disappointing.

Bit disappointing and very expensive - I wasn't 100% certain I was doing this, so just walked in and was shocked it cost £39. I paid it as I like seeing fish etc, but truthfully I was disappointed. I found the one in Brighton better and it cost much less. There was 1 big display with the sharks and turtles, which you saw at different levels. It was nice to see the little penguins, but I read reviews afterwards about the depressing location and would tend to agree as they have no daylight at all The whole location of the aquarium is very dark and I did take a couple of little stumbles. I think £25 would be a fairer cost.

Enjoyed our visit but rude member of staff at photo area. - We enjoyed our visit with our 3 and 4 year old grandchildren. They very much enjoyed the fish and loved the penguins. Whilst we had a good time we unfortunately had a bad experience at the photo booth. We did not want to have our photos taken and politely asked to walk straight through. The male member of staff was extremely rude to us - it was quite unecessary and upset us. It put a dampener on our visit.

The fish are coming - A decent aquarium but it’s so dark at times and some of the areas look too small for the fish and penguins. Also an aquarium is an aquarium, you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all really. The price £38 on the day is a joke, why do I get charged £10 extra because I’ve got tickets in person? Just trying to get more money out of unaware tourists I think, no other reason to charge extra money. The most expensive attraction I’ve been to but certainly not the best and not worth the high price.

Depressing - I hadn't visited for about 10 years and was very disappointed with the ecperience this time round. The state of the bare and grubby shark tank was utterly depressing as was the underground basement where the penguins live without daylight or fresh air. The only new things were at an additional cost. It felt like a tourist rip off.
