An enjoyable experience :) - We had a fun time at the Shrek Adventure. Children aged 7&4 both enjoyed the experience. I thought the actors and actresses really tried hard to involve the group! We wouldn’t return as we solved the adventure and met Shrek but would recommend it to our friends!

Kids had a shrektacular time!!! - I gave the tour 5 stars and that’s based on an adult reviewing a child’s experience. After a visit with my young nieces and nephew I am leaving an honest but maybe quite critical review. Getting here very easy many local tube stations and buses, location visibility great easy to find. No queue when we arrived for our prebooked time slot and we scanned and went straight in. Nice walkthrough to get to your with photo opportunities and nice decoration on walls. Shop with snacks before you enter the tour and you can get novelty ears here too. As soon as you walk into the next section which is beginning of tour through a green screen photo op (paid) you are told no phones no photos no videos!! This is a strict rule. So the tour begins you get on the magical 4d bus. The kids enjoyed this but honestly I thought it was a bit underwhelming. Literally sat on a bus with water chucked on me a few times not impressive. The tour starts you are lead through many different rooms with actors who interact with the crowd and tell the story of you getting to a magical portal to escape rumplestiltskin the actors were very good my only issue with the tour was that every room we entered the actor chose the same little girl for every task. I thought it was strange that she got picked for the whole tour and wondered did she pay for that experience. I am glad she had an amazing time it just took it away from the rest of the group of kids. Favourite room was the quiz with Pinocchio and overall the tour was fun interesting and really good for the smaller kids. When we finally managed to get back to London through the magical portal we met Shrek (paid photo op) which was fun we had a pic and a hi 5. We also visited while gingey was there so managed a photo (free) with him too!! Moving closer to the exit it’s now time to get the photos actually reasonably priced £25 for all 4 pics printed in a magical walk through book and all the downloads actually impressed with this price so we bought them. Gift shop not too bad but obviously a bit expensive for cuddly toys and other random bits and bobs. Honest opinion of the attraction. Kids loved it. Adults I think enjoyed the kids enjoying it. I wouldn’t go back but glad I’ve done it. Worth a trip.

What a great hour! - We attended on Saturday. There was myself, my husband, and our 8 year old son. We didn't have high expectations after reading some of the reviews. All of the staff were fantastic from beginning to end. All interacted with the children and got them involved. The amount of detailing that went into the adventure is incredible. The adventure itself was funny, interactive, and fun for all the family. The shop was over priced, however being in London it's expected. We would return & we highly recommend it.

Good Fun for young kids! - Visited with our 6yr old son. We didnt know what to expect but we found it an enjoyable hour in london. Especially if youre into DREAMWORKS. The 4D cinema bus ride was the best bit—6yr old loved that. Acting by the characters was a bit cheesey but kind of what you expect, the kids in our group all got involved. there is alot of walking into various rooms, some darker than others, flashing lights and loud bangs and noises. But we found it good fun. Any older then 7, kids would probably be bored.

Better than expected! - After reading the reviews my expectations for this were quite low, however was better than expected. We used Tesco vouchers to pay towards this otherwise would have been about £96 for our family of 4. Arrived and pretty much went straight through, went on a virtual bus ride which was pretty good then went from room to room in a group with actors in character - these were fairly engaging and got audience participation - although certain people (me!) did get picked on several occasions. Signs saying no photos although they take your photos at the start and at the end with Shrek and the Gingerbread man. The photos can be bought at the end. Prices aren’t shown for the photo packages, although the top one is £30, which includes a book which has 4 printed photos, a photo magnet and the download for the photos, which isn’t too bad. Experience lasted around 1 hour.

Not worth the money - My son 7 and 3 nagged us to come here whilst in london so we gave in. What a disappointment it was. It's just a tour. Nothing for the kids to join in with. They got so bored. They both wanted to leave. So expensive aswell for what it was.

Don’t waste your money! - Don’t waste your money! Our ticket was for 2:45pm. We arrived at 2:35pm to be told to come back in 10 minutes. When we returned, the queue was going down southbank which then continued inside for over half an hour! Our ‘experience’ did not start until 3:25 and when it did start it was disappointing. It is definitely more suitable for over 7s, our children are 5. I also didn’t think it was suitable to have a man dressed as a woman for a child’s experience, regardless of characters in the film. Paddington next door is much much better and more suited for the younger children.

Disappointing Suitable for over 8s - Took our 6 year old grandson as the website all looked great having read the mixed reviews. Our grandson loves all the films. Booked in for 11.30 but had to queue for a long time even before we got into the lift to take us in to the tour and then you have to wait for your group to be photographed by a fed up looking girl with the camera. Lots of good props on the way in for photo opportunities. The website shows that you go on a 3D bus but we weren’t given any glasses so our grandson was disappointed. He thought the bus would be moving. Bit of a let down sadly. Cinderella gave us an introductory talk which was funny but not suitable for children as she was talking about online dating etc. it was too long. The rest of the interactions with the actors and rooms was good, very clever. Not suitable for children under 8 in my opinion sadly.

Poor don’t waste your money - Not what I expected I wish I had read the reviews before coming. It’s a walk through experience it took around 1 hour. Very dark and loud at times something to consider if your children don’t like the dark or noise. Lots of flashing lights completely unnecessary in my opinion. You move from one room to another where there are live actors telling their part of what is a pretty bad story. Shrek and donkey are hardly involved it the entire process. It was just disappointing to be honest. They do have great photo opportunities at the very end of the experience that you can purchase but I personally won’t be recommending unfortunately.
