- Summer Time Lane - Join a group climb on various trees, ranging from 100 to 200 feet tall, including rare old-growth and second-growth trees. Depending on the group’s dynamics and climbers’ skills, participants will ascend between one to four trees. Climbing up to 20 stories in Coastal Douglas Fir Trees provides a breathtaking perspective and views that are rarely seen. Enjoy stunning vistas of mountains, wildlife, and the ocean from the top of the canopy.
No prior experience is required, but participants must be at least 8 years old.
Learn to climb large trees using ascenders until reaching the branches, then continue branch climbing to the canopy’s peak! The ascender technique resembles performing squats.
Wear athletic attire, long pants that cover the ankles, and athletic shoes. It’s advisable to wear clothes that can get dirty or damaged. All other equipment will be provided. The tree canopy climbing experience is a step-by-step process. It begins with receiving all necessary equipment, followed by safety briefings, equipment familiarization, and usage training, before starting the climb! The process is kept straightforward and enjoyable to ensure participants have fun, learn, and remain safe.
