Our 90-minute express tour offers an easy walk to the front of the sign, while our 2.5-hour hike takes you to both the front and back of the sign.
- This tour is available as a 3 hour hike to the front and back of the Hollywood Sign, or an express 90 minute walking tour to the front of the Hollywood Sign - choose at checkout
- Please arrive 15 minutes BEFORE your ticket time to check in with your LA tour guide.
- If you don’t see your preferred time listed, Bikes and Hikes LA offers flexible private and group tour options—reach out to learn more.
- Young children are welcome to join this hike tour; we recommend this tour for guests ages 6 and up. Children participating in the hiking tour should be able to hike on their own. NO STROLLERS! For children under 6, we highly recommend choosing the 90 minute option at checkout.
- NOTE: Meet your guide OUTSIDE by the long white gate where the trailhead begins; they wear a neon yellow Bikes & Hikes vest. Do not bother the people at the houses in this neighborhood.
- Please allow ample time for traffic (welcome to LA!) and for parking. There is free street parking at this location- please follow all signs.
- Guests joining this Hollywood Sign tour should be in good health, and enjoy a walk on this Hollywood Hills tour
- Don’t forget your camera! You’ll get the best view of the Hollywood Sign, so be sure to tag us on Instagram @bikesandhikesla
- We’ll be walking 4 miles (6.4 km) along what is widely considered to be an easy to moderate hiking trail on the Hollywood Sign Hike

The experience was... - The experience was wonderful. We had Noelle as our tour guide and she was amazing. The pictures she helped us take were amazing. She gave so much information about the history of the Hollywood sign and of Los Angeles. The hike was well worth it.

Excellent guided tour with amazing views - Noelle was an excellent tour guide. So friendly and very knowledgeable. She set a good pace and took plenty of stops as needed. She was thoughtful to bring sunscreen and extra water in case someone was in need. She made the experience FANTASTIC! She was also amazing at helping take pictures. She is the best!

So Glad We Did This as a Tour - I truly enjoyed this tour with my mom—it was such a pleasure from start to finish. The group was small and intimate, which made the experience feel relaxed and personal. Our tour guide, Noel, was knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly friendly, and she took some AMAZING photos along the way—seriously, such a gift.
Even though I live in Los Angeles, I had never made it to the Hollywood Sign before, and I’m so glad my mom and I decided to do it this way. The experience would have been drastically different if we had hiked it solo. With the tour, you really get to slow down, take your time, soak it all in—there’s a little bit of history, plenty of photo ops, and a very good workout. It definitely helped me hit my goal for the day (lol).
If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend booking the tour. And shoutout to Noel—she absolutely deserves it. 💛

Highly recommend! Great guide! - Great experience and our guide shared lots of Interesting Hollywood stories and jokes. I recommend this to anyone coming to LA. Hike is manageable, a little tough in the beginning but we get lots of photo time and stops in between.
