It’s a great and fun thing to do. 1 hour is a long time to be honest. 30 min or 45 would be plenty. Service workers were pleasant. I do recommend venturing out on the swans

The boat ride itself was nice. I was a bit bothered by the overall attitude of the employees. The guy at check in failed to acknowledge my party standing right in front of him. I gave him a couple of minutes before I said something and off we went with the vests. The two people at the boats were also talking and I intervened and we got on the boats.when we got off the boats I wasn’t sure were to put the jackets and the two attendants were just standing there looking. Some guidance as a new boat rider would have been nice like hey welcome back you can set your life vests on abcd anyways the boat ride was fun.

I reserved the boat at 6:30, to have the swan boat with lights. Unfortunately the lights were very dim. It wasn't until we turned the boat in they changed out the batteries for the next people. And they were very bright. Why couldn't they check them before anyone goes out or take their boat out to change them. Also the last time I was there you able to use almost all the lake. This time we were bounded to be around the water fountain. It got very crowded and people were bumping into each other

I'm not sure how you would improve this experience other than an overhaul. The staff was kind, the boats were mechanically sound, the lifejacket system was fine, the weather was good, lots of cute wildlife. But the lake is so small, you've kind of seen it all after 10-15 minutes. We also showed up on time for our reservation and had to wait a good 10-15 minutes before we got on a boat which I guess was because it was too busy. Another missed opportunity I think is the restaurant attached to the dock, the food options and decor was not good at all. I think there's a lot more money to be made adding to the fun, trendy experience by serving cute coffee and pastries, or something better than what looks like lifeless, stale pizza. Here's another free suggestion: Hire a photographer. Have them walk around the outside of the lake and offer to take photos of the riders that they can then view or purchase in an archive.
