Amazing experience - Excellent park.. great rides and lot of things to enjoy. Atmosphere is full of energy. We had a lot of fun. Jurassic ride is a must.

Universal California is compact and has the tour in the studios that is worth it - The Park has the same attractions as Universal Orlando but slightly different, mainly due to the newly inaugurated Epic Universe. The advantage is that the park is more compact which makes it easier to walk around. The only different attraction is the tour of the studios, and it is mandatory, has simulator and everything else the guides are very fun.

Lots to see, very expensive and long waits. - So much to see and really just a crapload of ppl. It can be very noisy as they have music blasting from every which way (in addition to all the chatter) so if you are noise sensitive like me, take ear plugs. The express pass is over $400 but is offered a bit cheaper if you come later in the afternoon so it is therefore even busier at this time. If you are only going to do one day and can afford it get the expensive pass, if not it’s better to come over two or more days so u can work your way around the attractions.

Fun day in LA - Had a fun day at Universal Studios - a must do when in LA. We stayed in Hollywood so was just a short Uber ride. Got there early and had bought tickets on line so was quick to get in. The Transformer ride was an amazing experience. Also the studio tour, especially the King Kong 3D tunnel, felt like you were in the movie.

Lots of ways to spend money. - Lines weren't too long. More shopping than rides but, overall not a bad day. Bring snacks, food was not that great.

Universal Studios Hollywood – Rude and Unprofessional Security Experience - Really disappointing experience today. My wife accidentally left my phone after going through the security bag check and went back right away to get it. Instead of just helping, the security guard was rude, condescending, and acted like I was causing a problem for no reason. I'm paying to be here on vacation, not to be talked down to or treated like a suspect. The security staff seriously need better training in how to speak to guests or you need to hire better. They act like they're some kind of cops instead of customer-facing employees at a theme park. For what people pay to come here, basic respect should be the minimum.
