Fabulous day trip - We took a day tour to experience the many things Mindo has to offer, and chose the waterfalls, hummingbirds and butterfly experience Our guide Christian was incredible. He had an extensive knowledge of Quito, Ecuador, vegetation and birds and his English was excellent He was very accommodating and allowed us to plan our itinerary The walk to and from Nambillo waterfall was enjoyable and doable We then went to see the butterflies where we learned many facts we’d previously not known and we even got to feed one !! The highlight of our trip was the hummingbirds where again we were able to feed them. These tiny little birds actually landed on our hands, which was beyond amazing, and the speed of their wings felt like a fan ! The journey to and from Mindo was quite long, 2 plus hours but it was a great opportunity to see outside of Quito and Christian taught us so much along the way

We started with a visit to the hummingbirds, where the guide was right there with me, explaining everything in detail and making sure I got the best views. BEST TOUR EVER - If you love to feel in connection with nature, this tour is definitely for you. We started the day with a delicious breakfast, then we went to see hummingbirds and birds where I managed to observe different types of birds while Isra was explaining to me about the biodiversity of Ecuador. Then we did an ATV tour which was a lot of fun for me, then we had a delicious lunch typical food and finally we did the chocolate and coffee tour. It was a fun day and what I loved the most was being able to feel in connection with nature and being able to have these majestic hummingbirds in my hand. I recommend it 100%

Mindo Cloud Forest tour - I was fortunate to have the highly recommended guide Isra for the day and he did not disappoint. He has a vast knowledge of Ecuador and is eager to engage in conversation about it. The hummingbird garden was absolutely amazing to see and to have them feeding from my hand was incredible! I did the coffee and chocolate tour as well which I found very informative and fun. It was hands on with the added pleasure of tasting many chocolate flavours and coffee freshly picked, ground and served. The scenic drive to Mindo was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this tour.
