Mindo is an experience that you cant ignore. (You see hummingbirds, butterflies and forest)recomend asking for Irene - We went to mindo and visit places with butterfly, hummingbirds and visit a very beutiful forest. Our guide was Irene she was super good because she was always trying to make us have a better experience in each place according to the specific conditions of time, traffic, climate etc that could affect or benefit our tour. The best was that Irene knew everything she is like an encyclopedia so it feels very good to ask something and that she is able to give every detail or that every animal that appeared she identified it and give us information about it.

Super fun tour made better by super Tour Guide ! - ASK FOR IRENE !!!!!! We went on the Mindo Day Tour with Irene - the tour guide and it was great. She was very knowledgeable about the area, history, flora and fauna. She was a lively guide who encouraged interaction within the group. She is fluently bilingual and everything she says in Spanish she says in English, so no one is left out…and she is quick to answer questions! She guides several different tours throughout the week so she could be your guide for several tours. ASK FOR IRENE !!! Very knowledgeable, experienced, fun and is treated with a hug by all the site operators she works with…that tells you a lot right there. Tropical forests with cloud and fog - Bird sanctuary is good, list of birds and humming birds! Cloud forest is good! Cable car is good. Diana, our tour guide is excellent.
