Fantastic bird guide! - We birded with Marcelo for 5 days. He arranged everything and it was an exceptional experience. He not only is great birder but he knows and shares so much more. About the plants, the culture and how to digiscope with your phone. He’s a master of that too! After 5 days we consider him a friend and look forward to seeing him again.

Marcelo is your man! - An early start, and due to the steady overnight rain we were a bit ambivalent about that the experience would hold. A slight drizzle as we set off, and by the time we got to the viewing platform, it was overcast but dry. Marcelo had binoculars for everyone, so we didn't have ti share, which certainly added to the experience. There were hummingbirds aplenty, but the "main attractions" were a little slow off the mark - due to the damp weather. However, once the tanagers and toucans came into play, it was amazing!! We saw soo many! After about 90 minutes at the platform (including coffee and rolls) we went for a walk, and Marcelo was able to show us a quetzal and a cock-of-the-rock. Also saw an agouti and a tayra near the platform. All in all, an awesome morning!

Incredible birds to see! - We had a great morning of bird watching! We saw so many incredible species, and with Marcelos sharp eye you can’t miss anything that’s around you! We also had a lovely breakfast afterwards, would highly recommend this tour!!

Amazing, passionate, and professional bird guide - We went with Marcelo in our birding trip in Mindo. He know very well about the environment and finds birds everywhere. It's a lot of fun seeing so many beautiful birds, including a magical place to see cock of the rock. He is very passionate to conserve the nature. Amazing Mindo Birding Tour - Marcelo was an excellent guide! Took us to a beautiful overlook in Mindo and then provided breakfast for us. After, he took us through the jungle where we were able to identify many exotic birds. Highly recommend!

Amazing birding guide - We had a really amazing birding tour with Marcelo. He collected us from our hostel and provided rubber boots and binoculars. We saw so many different types of birds, and Marcelo was very quick at spotting them and focusing the scope for us to look. He also helped us take photos through the scope. He was very knowledgeable about the birds, but also told us about a lot of plants we saw. You can tell that he really has a passion for nature and respects the forest. We had a tasty breakfast at the end of the tour. Marcelo speaks very good English.

Experienced guide and beautiful birds - Marsello knows his birds and how to find them. We are beginner birders and had fun hiking with him. He kindly provided rubber boots and an extra set of binoculars. We found queztals, toucans, and tanagers. The views from the trail were gorgeous and Marsello was an interesting conversationalist. We were lucky to get such an experienced birder last minute.
