Gentle camels - Álvaro is an excellent guide; he explained everything very well during the excursion, he is extremely patient, kind, gave us very clear explanations, talked to us about animals, and showed us images. They should hire more staff like him. Next time, I will definitely request him to give me the excursion again. I appreciate all the attention.

Not worth it - Only gave it a 2 because the camels were cute and we got to feed them. I had to search to find what time they were picking us up, ride took a very long time; we got there 30 minutes after the start time. Then we are told it’s $25 to enter the park which we pay, then are told you cannot bring phones or cameras for “safety reasons” that suddenly disappear if you pay an extra $150 😒. One of the girls explains these rules to me and then calls me out when I question it. Our tour guide was great and the camels were cute, we were lucky to be sitting in front. However we got no photos because the ones they took were bad and also cost an astronomical amount. We did get 3 tacos for free which were good. Tequila tasting was subpar, bartender was rude and acted like it was a burden to get us samples which were tiny. We told them when we were ready to leave and they said they would call us when the bus arrived which they did not so we almost missed the bus. Total money grab, choose another company!

Scam due to excessive costs - Disappointing experience with unclear costs We bought the camel tour at the RIU hotel for $2,000 MXN in total (approximately $1,000 MXN per person). Additionally, it is necessary to pay an entrance fee of $500 MXN per person, in cash only. According to what they sold us, the experience included a tequila tasting and food. However, the tasting consisted only of two small shots of the flavored liquor of one's choice, without any explanation, guide, or tasting experience. As for the food, they told us that we were not entitled to it because we did not have a wristband that, supposedly, they should have given us at the beginning. No one solved the problem or offered an alternative. Another negative point is that taking photographs is not allowed during the tour, so they practically force you to hire the place's photo service. Initially they told us they cost $4,000 MXN, although in the end they offered them to us for $2,000 MXN for 52 digital photographs. If you only wanted one photograph, the cost was $380 MXN, a price we consider excessive. In retrospect, we feel that the $2,000 MXN paid at the hotel was practically for the transfer, since the included benefits did not correspond to what was promised. If you have the possibility of getting there on your own, you will probably save that money. In our opinion, neither the tasting nor the food justifies the cost of the tour, and it would be important for there to be greater transparency about what is actually included and the additional expenses you will have to pay.

Very poor never showed up - You never showed up, if you did your guide did not call our names we waited over 60 Minutes. Now you don’t want to refund the money. So I will dispute it with my Apple Card.

Outrageous! They shamelessly steal your money - The only good thing to say is that the place is beautiful and the guide we had was very kind. The rest was a very unpleasant experience. Several workers at the place did not treat us well. The lack of professionalism and the audacity to take your money is outrageous. They make you pay $25 per person to access the place where the tours start as if the place did not belong to the agency itself. It is a total absurdity to have paid for the tour and then have to pay an extra $25 to enter the tour. Shamelessly, they offer you a package or private tour where you can bring your phone and take your own photos and videos. That package is much more expensive. If you do not pay for it, you cannot bring your phone. They force you to leave it in a locker. The reason they give you to leave it is for security reasons. So if you pay more, you can take your phone without problems; if you don't pay more, it's dangerous to take it. How ridiculously absurd; they should find another excuse or clearly tell you that they charge to let you bring your phone. The other option you have is to pay for the expensive photo package they take during the tour. The packages cost from $104 and up ($104 is the cheapest). An individual digital photo costs $20. And believe me, doing the tour with the camels and not having the photos is just pointless. So be prepared to spend a lot of money. Or better yet, don't go; you will save yourself the disappointment. Because the truth is that the tour is not spectacular at all, and so many nonsensical rules and restrictions ruin the experience. I almost forgot to mention that they are not punctual at all. It's better not to plan another excursion that same day because you might not arrive on time. I had to go tell them that we were late to start; that I had other activities planned for the day. Even so, we started the tour 40 minutes late because they were trying to fill it up more so they wouldn't go out with too few people. OUTRAGEOUS!
